I have often wondered how Warhol did this... I always really liked that blotted line. And now here it is, all clear and didactic. Thank you so much!

Saw this video in an installation at The Warhol Museum recently. Wasn't sure I wanted to go to there at first because I thought I knew all I needed about Warhol. I was wrong. Such a fascinating visit. Love how the museum is arranged from top to bottom showing you his growth and journey. And the Marisol portion was so amazing.

I love Andy and what his depth as a person and artist was/is but because of my ocd with straight line work this method is...terrifying.

That looks noting like Warhol’s blotted line drawings. That was a mess. And that narration style made no sense. Overly detailed for no reason. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The commentary made the process understandable to a visually impaired person. This type of commentary is common when the film maker wants to reach a wider audience, not just sighted persons. For learning purposes, it also allows viewers to receive the information both visually and aurally.

That looks nothing like a Warhol line drawing. What a mess. And that narration made absolutely no sense. Total BS ripoff.
