At the bottom right of this video, there's a rectangular symbol with some lines - this will activate subtitles. The settings icon next to it, lets you go into a subtitles menu and select your preference. The one called English - United Kingdom are subs we have put together to help people with this episode. The ones called English - auto generated, are youtube's attempt at understanding us - which isn't super well! Do use them if you''re having difficulty this ep, we do get very broadly Scottish / Ayrshire in this one!

Legend .Netherwood, Auldhouseburn and Crossflatt, the holy Trinity of Blackface breeding, and I guess Muirkirk also seems to be a bit of a Bermuda triangle for producing and holding great characters with a great sense of humour. What a gentleman , you can tell from those hands that he has seen and lived through hard times and I'd bet the only time he wheeled an empty wheel barrow was when it was new.

Andy judged the interbreed at Limavady a few year ago and and put my beltex reserve interbreed champion and my lambs interbreed pairs champion. Had a few drinks and story's with him in the bar after a real gentleman and character . Great podcast 😂

Great podcast, really interesting and lots of laughs, as well as the serious side of farming. Loved your comments on Muirkirk folk, they are very special people. My Mum hails from Muirkirk and grandparents lived there for most of their lives. I have the best memories of most of my school holidays and Christmases spent there. I made many friends and loved all the time I spent there. It was great to recall the names of the various farms that we walked past and through many times.

I so want to listen/watch the whole podcast but think I will need sub-titles. Me ear is just not catching most of what Andy is saying. First guest you have had on that I am struggling with the accent.

@@FedByFarmersPodcast I turned on CC but it did not work. Probably need to change settings to "English - UK" as you suggested. It's probably defaulted to English - Canada or USA. thanks

Hilarious. I discovered subtitles which really helped but even then the subtitles had trouble with some of the words. Love your podcasts and this one was one of the best. 🫶
