Hi, this is a place where I teach Brian Jonestown Massacre songs. Anemone is great, but there is so much more they've done that is also great. Check them out, welcome to the channel.
As always, post recommendations/corrections/criticisms/questions (even the most basic ones) in the comments.

Thank you so much for breaking down this song, specially the string bending part. I just bought my first electric guitar and I ve been struggling to play this on accoustic. You got a new subscriber ;) Thanks !

Glad it was helpful, this song is a little harder to get the hang of than it seems! The bending and the strumming pattern can feel awkward at first

Hi, I have to tell you a little episode about this song and your way to play it; few weeks ago I walked into a musical instrument shop, and I asked to try a guitar. The salesman was rather wary, I don't know why, and I started playing Anemone how I learned it from you, including the solo: you should have been his incredulous facial expression, he had never heard it before and I told him that he didn't know what he had missed so far. Thanks as usual for your generosity.

That's awesome! Probably felt pretty good to get that reaction. Glad you were able to find value in my lesson

hi, may i ask you a question? i find really hard using a pick and i saw you are not using one, so my question is, can i play electric guitar normally and being good without using one?

Yes you can play the electric guitar just fine without using a pick. There is no right or wrong way to play the guitar. You might like the way your playing sounds with a pick more than without a pick though. Look up some videos and learn about how using a pick changes the sound characteristics of your guitar. Nobody is ever going to look at someone not using a pick and think "this person doesn't know how to play guitar... they aren't using a pick!" And if someone does think that then they have no idea what they are talking about!

Nice attempt at a lesson mate, glossed over the chords and little fiddly bits a little though. Bit hard to follow, should slow it down a bit. Thanks though

Someone else just requested the same thing, if I were to make another video you'd want more in depth info on both the chords and the lead? Never know the audience's comfortability with guitar so hard to strike a balance between providing too much or too little detail. Thanks for the feedback

Thanks for the reply, other people seem to get it so could just be me. Lead stuff is pretty good to follow, thanks very much
