You can almost guarantee that if the tarmac sections of Annie Road are made well and good over the next few days, then within a week or two then someone will come along and decide to dig a new hole in the road for one reason or another.

Wish they could make the kop stand the same as Annie road but just with one big terrace, they could easily run the road under stadium look loads of other stadiums have done.
How on Earth could Buckingham Group, the original contractor selected by Liverpool, now a debarred and discredited ex organisation, have persuaded the clever FSG people ( and the likes of Henry, Werner and Gordon ARE clever people ) that they would have the Anfield Road expansion ready for the beginning of the 2023-24 season, when here we are, struggling to finish it in time for the 2024-25 season? There still seem to be too many build, cladding, and road issues, but the pace of work, on the face of it, seems pedestrian. As someone rightly points out, those responsible for constructing and then dismantling the stages for the recent pop concerts work at lightening speed. FSG - I’ve always been your biggest supporter. Get stuck into these contractors and hold them to their commitments. Us fans want our stadium to match the talents and ambition of the team. We are close, but still not quite there. Get the Anfield Road finished and move on to The Kop, and then Sir KD. You’re doing a great job. Just prod these contractors a bit harder.
The construction is still not finished, the stadium is tiny. The owner is stingy and mean. The football team is big but doesn't even have a FIFA standard stadium
Bugger off and go to Old Trafford then, that will teach you a lesson. We would have to move and/or reduce seating capacity to have a FIFA standard stadium.
Another divvie who has never been to Anfield and knows its history. Why do you give a fuck about being FIFA standard? Anfield is our home not our home to be rented out to the FA, FIFA or UEFA just to satisfy the dick swinging competition internet tools like to participate in.
The seating in the Kop and the Anfield Road end should all be fitted back in in a matter of days, end of next werk as a max I beleive also the new pitch will be ready to be laid next week and will again only take a few days to doso and then needs 3 week or so to fully bed iteslf in.The interesting thing is the roof and why they are having to do that Is it a repair need because of joint leaks or is it to help with the under roof cladding on the stand. I have heard different reason.Hopefully though it should be too long to do and complete.The terracing and seats which infront of the hospitality section of the Annie Road stand though does look like it could be a time consuming job and you wonder if this will be co.pleted in time for the start of the new season along with all the other minor snaggig jobs that still need to be signed off. The stand is now one year behind its orginal completion date and you do have to wonder if it will be completed prior to the season start or even before late Sept or early October. It has become a bit of a embarrassment for the contracters and Liverpool FC and i just think we all want to see it completed asap. Do we know if the club intend to rip out the faded seats in the lower section of the main stand and replace them with seats that match the colour of the seats in the other parts of the ground. It just looks a little shody as it currently is, or can those seats be easily refurbished without being removed and their color returned to Red rather than the faded pink that they currently are
Definitely a Cammell Laird crew building this (Twice the build time, twice the cost), especially the Cladding crew! Just like no one, from around the entire world, would go near Lairds to build a Civil Vessel (except for the loony regional mayor, putting Mersey ferries under pressure to build our ferries there); you would have to be brave or stupid to hire The Anfield Rd building group!
Do you like getting sued? If I was that company that is what I'd do to you. Do you know who the company is who has taken this over the project management? Guess not. Do you know who that company employs?
