The love between Diego and Gabriela was truly amazing it could've been a successful revolutionary campaign against the Augustinian Jesuits but was foiled by the most common activity amongst the Filipinos "betrayal."
Masakit lang isipin na karamihan sa mga bayani natin ay Hindi namatay sa kamay ng mananakop, kundi namatay dahil sa mga kapwa pilipino na ganid sa kapangyarihan.

Heroes who deserves to have their own movies based on their lives. Diego silang Juan Dela Cruz palaris Francisco dagohoy Miguel malvar Leon kilat Emilio jacinto Macario sakay
And later generations Iike Luna, bonifacio, jacinto would end up leading revolts against the British(instead of the Spanish). Though the Brits colonizing us would have probably still allowed us to keep Spanish as a secondary language
@@99mrpogi Spain Didn't teach thier Spanish language at the time between 1500's and 1820's and the only thing to learn the spanish language is out of Privilege and forbidden to be taught to other native comrades.

Agreed. Though it might also mean that later generations of historical figures like jose Rizal, andres bonifacio, Antonio Luna, Emilio aguinaldo, Manuel quezon, Emilio jacinto, Gregorio del Pilar are probably just random unknown people of their period.... Unless they are still prominent but in a different way
Diego silang would have probably established his version of the katipunan, spread to other areas and probably gained other allies... Diego silang could have been instrumental in liberating the Philippines at an earlier period, became first president (instead of aguinaldo or bonifacio), got hailed as the George Washington of the Philippines.. though a possible negative outcome is he could have also been betrayed in a different manner, ie he became friends(later betrayed) by a man from cavite who may have turned out to be an ancestor of Emilio aguinaldo.
Aringay remained a part of Pangasinan province until April 18, 1854, when the Spanish fused the northern towns of that province with the southern towns of Ilocos Sur to create the new province of La Union (hence, "The Union") The municipalities of Caba and Gallano (later placed in the province of Benguet and then abolished in 1900) were later carved out of Aringay’s northern borders.
