Court does usually not look kindly on people who lied to the police and didn't own up to their part of the blame, like Angelica. Cathy fully admitted that she drove first and took the keys.

It was kind of obvious at the start, to be honest. Cathy was so devoted into making sure everyone knew it wasn't her who crashed, whereas Angelica was just shaking and nodding her head to questions from the police. I doubt Nicola will talk to the police and instead she will probably continue to blame Cathy.

It's to represent a jump in time to the next scene, so using our brains we can assume during the drive Angelica switched places with Kathy probably in an attempt to impress Heath like she's been doing for weeks now, abandoned the baby she was looking after to hang out with Heath, trying to steal booze to impress him, offering to drive Heath to his gig would have been Angelicas third strike

@@CharlotteJones21it wasn't shown in real time you numpty, if you actually used whatever little braincells you possess, you might be able to work out the reason it wasn't actually shown live onscreen as it happened, is because there's a flippin twist, the twist is Angie took over the driving either by force, or they stopped, and swapped places, because Angie thought it a good idea to take the wheel, and drive at speed to impress her little crush ❤ Heath! Deal with it lady, you can't always get what you want, no matter how much you hate a character! As you clearly hate Cathy!
