This is from my favorite Elvis movie "Follow That Dream." When I saw this movie on tv years ago, I became a fan. This scene comes at the end of the movie. I wish you could played out a minute or so more though the singing had ceased. This song is one of his best efforts.
My girlfriend fell in love with that song. I learned to appreciate it myself and one of Elvis's best love songs that I've ever heard. You'll definitely enjoy this Dani.
They filmed that movie in Yankeetown Florida. My Mom lives near it and I have been over the spot they filmed it and the bridge he sat on, the spot looks just as it did then.

This brings back memories. I would sing" Angel " to my love all the time. Then we would dance to Angel. His nickname became Angel from then on. What a beautiful song and sung by a true musical angel.💞💞💞

Dani have you seen or heard Young and Beautiful (1957 from Jailhouse Rock) ? It’s probably the smoothest and clearest Elvis song. Like Nat King Cole really smooth....of course the sad back story why he wouldn’t watch the movie ( Judy Tyler). Terrific that you love Elvis . He was as cool and talented as it gets ! I have a niece that has some pipes ( can sing) and always encourage her . Any time I see a young person who has it , I push them a little . Guess what ... you got some pipes ! The young girl in the movie is Canadian Anne Helm, now 82 years old. Apparently, the story goes that she and Elvis had a short fling. I will leave the rest to your imagination. Its no secret that Elvis got very close to his movie starlets. Who can blame them? They were simply hypnotized by Elvis' charm and personality. He could wink an eye at any woman and she would be his. No one else would stand a chance.
elvis vocals 1960 to 1964 was just unmistakable, songs from that period like girl of my best friend , soldier boy , pocket full of rainbows all beautifully sung ! this elvis that voice/ vocals is the elvis I grew up with takes me back to my childhood everytime I hear that perfect voice he had then

Love your reactions - especially Thursdays. Alot of the movie songs are really good. Tickle Me has a great bar scene that was really silly and thats just how Elvis plays it. Dani...it’s me again. I just read an interesting story told by Joe Moscheo where he says that Elvis was absolutely passionate about the song “He Touched Me” ( he won a Grammy). He listened to it fifty times because it meant so much to him. I thought you would do a great reaction...especially knowing how much that song meant to him...you can hear his love for this song....I am adding this request to my other request ‘Long Black Limousine”. You mentioned his hair being lighter. In a "docudrama" I saw years ago, the actor playing him said (as Elvis) that he was going to dye his hair black, like his Mama's. The lilt in his voice as he sings "a-angel", reminds me of a song from Blue Hawaii. I believe the title of that song is "Kauai". The line this reminds me of is, "Heaven is another name for, Kauai, Island of Love".

There is several songs back in 1956 because of the range and emotion and the beauty of the song please react to how's the world treating you the song first in line and also Blue Moon you will surely not be disappointed at all because he's have very different vocal ranges and emotion and passion behind them
This movie ("Follow that Dream") and "Love Me Tender" are the only ones to show him with his real dark blond hair. In all the others (starting with "Loving You" in 1957) his hair is jet black.

There is a Elvis song that I don’t think you’ve done that is incredible. “I Don’t Want To Know “ from The album walk a mile in my shoe the 70s Masters it’s the best version it’s not live but it’s the most soulful version. Elvis does have a live version from 77 but it’s not as good
