This was the moment we were all waiting and hoping for - Tom flies in with a baby opossum and Angel takes it and feeds their chick for the first time! Tom is watching from the side of the nest - he is curious and attentive to this newest development and is taking it all in and learning! He flies to a branch and comes right back to the nest to continue to watch the feeding! The look on his face was priceless! What a monumental and important moment for this first time Dad to witness this process of feeding their chick. I included views from both cams since Angel's back was to the cam.
After Angel was finished feeding her chick, she broods and then falls asleep. Tom will return with a second opossum and is stocking the pantry now! Well done Tom! We are very proud of you!! Thank you for watching!

Unnamed Mate- Male, 3+ years of age, Normal Coloration
Nest: 40 feet tall, 3 feet long x 1.5 feet wide, human-reinforced nest
Cams: Above the nest is a tiny pinhole cam so we don't intrude into the small nest, this cam does not have IR (night vision). We have a long-range PTZ cam in a distant tree, with IR and Mic.
