Angel flew off the nest to take a break and Tom arrives back to the nest and spends time alone with RTH5. He looks at his chick sleeping and then he hops to a nearby branch but comes back to the nest. Don't blink because Tom will preen RTH5's head for a couple of seconds at 02:13 and then he does his own preening of his tail feathers and looks around the area keeping watch. Blue Jays are back and swooping the nest as Tom stands guard to watch over RTH5. He heads to the outer branch and then Angel will fly in and take over. Tom did really good today spending so much time alone with his chick and having that parental instinct kick in. Angel will bring in a robin and Tom will bring in some prey today as well. Nest: 40 feet tall, 3 feet long x 1.5 feet wide, human-reinforced nest
Cams: Above the nest is a tiny pinhole cam so we don't intrude into the small nest, this cam does not have IR (night vision). We have a long-range PTZ cam in a distant tree, with IR and Mic.
