Lorne knew about the cameras because they were causing the humming he was hearing. The note likely told Angel about said cameras and to meet him in the janitor's closet so they could talk without W&H hearing them.

My take on her having the baby is: She knew it was human so her death wouldn't necessarily kill the baby. There was this prophecy that they thought was about the baby not being born. So she did what she could to ensure the baby would be alive. When she realized how it could not make it since the situation was dire, she gave it a chance by suicide. I think she did out of love, not for herself but fully for the chance of saving her child.

I love how the stars align for you and this show so often. Like, you got to go through Willows breakup during a breakup and now, you have to deal with...Conner.

Darla's last words were "This child is the one good thing we ever did together. The only good thing. You make sure to tell him that" This tells me that she felt the child would survive. She gave her life so that he would be born. For her, it was the only way to ensure his survival. Her first and only selfless act.

I think in Dad it's only fair that Lorne is given a place to stay after his club keeps getting destroyed ever since he met Angel and his crew. Angel being so over protective of the child it becomes unnerving. Lilah talking to the girl in files and records is quite a funny scene at first, then we realise she is king of Automaton giving Lilah all the info on Holtz. It's almost like a metaphor for 'blood is thicker than water' when Angel it seems just leaves them all in the hotel putting his 'blood' family over his 'adopted' family. Wolfram and Heart of course have the place bugged with video as well. The teddy bear bomb a great scene in deceiving them all. Interesting when we get 'welcome Conor' , who for a while is possibly many fans most hated character in The Buffyverse! Nice final shot with the five walking away with Angel and the pushchair. Another really great S3 episode.

It was kind of this episode where I realized Wolfram and Hart are more funny than intimidating at this point. It was when Angel breaks into W+H for the millionth time and threatens the older lawyer guy. At this point, are they supposed to be threatening or something??

For the initial question in this video (a minute in), I think everyone is overthinking Darla's blasé response to Holtz being around. My take is that there is no great meaning to what she said, other than resignation. She was probably just thinking, "Things can't possibly get any worse." On any other day, she would think it was insane that a human somehow time-skipped centuries and was still fixated on the sole purpose of revenge against her and Angel. But after all the weird and stressful events they just went through, Darla was probably resigned that the most unthinkable, terrible thing would "of course" happen.

So I don't know if you know, but Connor is a very very common Irish name as well as a pretty old one (like Liam) I can get why you wouldn't be a fan of it but I've always really liked that Angel picked a name from his human past for the kid, just seems kinda wholesome to me

Darla says it’s the perfect timing for holtz to be here for his revenge cause now darla and Angel both have soul so they can actually feel guilty about what they done to him…if they were soulless , they would’ve just laughed at him.

It was an interesting choice to turn a supernatural neo-noir detective series into a family sitcom.

I don’t quite understand Darla having to stake herself to have the baby (in terms of her body not sustaining the human baby and it looking like she’s going to lose the baby). I understand why Darla would be upset by the idea of not caring about her child once she gives birth, but her body was already going through extreme physical changes to accommodate for the baby, so why would giving birth be different? I feel like she should have physically been able to give birth without issue.

Connor will have last name O'Malley. Can't believe nobody knows what's Angel's full real name. Cordelia Chase is surrogate mom of Connor. She's closest thing to Connor he have as mom after he lost his biological mother Darla died sacrifice herself for him when he was born in November 19, 2001. Team Cangel. I'm big major fan of Angel and Cordelia's endgame. Connor have two moms in his life is his biological mother Darla and surrogate mom Cordelia Chase. I feel sorry for Connor that he lost his biological mother Darla when he was born.

Hey, Alley, I was just wondering if you'll be reacting to Charmed (the original) after Angel or Dollhouse? Charisma is in at least one episode. I also remembered that I saw a clip of Charisma and James Masters having a marital spat in a Supernatural episode and yet I don't remember you saying anything when they showed up in Buffy? Were they so much younger that it just didn't click?

The people I would trust to help raise a baby are people that have prior experience being around babies. Of the team, only Gunn has a younger sibling that we know of. But I'm afraid Hollywood writers often have too little experience themselves with raising babies, so we get continued tropes and sacrificing accuracy for gag lines. Cordelia, motherly? Based on reading books? I pity the poor kid, and that's before he goes to school saying he's being raised by three dads, two moms, and an uncle, two (three?) of them demons. And a godfather. (Not to knock on Wood, or leave him out...)

Still not sure why the writers picked Connor, other than it's an Irish name. It's not like they've established that Liam's father was named Connor, or one of his friends. Maybe one of them also had an ex named Connor, and decided, "That's what we'll name this offspring of two demons."

Angel wanted an Irish name. That's why "Connor". I'm sure they knew nothing about your "ex". LOL I also wondered about the explosives. I think he just used a small explosive to set off a bunch of explosive material stored on that site.
