I actually enjoyed this interview. Sure the interviewer didn’t have as much knowledge as her, but I think he walked away, just as much as a lot of us did, with a better understanding of her iconic viewpoints. It also highlights this historic time period we’re in very well. I hope they show clips from this in classrooms 10-20 years from now.

This interviewer doesn't have enough of a knowledge base to explore what Angela Davis can offer in a conversation. The penultimate last straw for me was asking her if she thought fake news was bad. Of course it is. And the dead-last straw was asking her mostly about her fame, which is not an important subject matter for Davis.

im doing research on Angela Davis for school, bc i want to learn more ab her and i got to pick who i did my paper on, so ofc i picked my queen ms Davis, this interview kinda helped but i wish he did better asking questions rather than just trying to argue.

I recall as a teen in the ‘70’s of a newspaper article of a white elderly judge being held hostage by a group of militants who were being supplied guns by Angela Davis. It was shocking. Unforgivable.

Right-wing is not extreme. Unless you ask people that don't understand what that concept is all right-wing means is that you don't make any judgments on someone's race or religion or sexual orientation or gender. And you stop calling people out by their race or gender or religion or sexual orientation. We don't believe in someone being labeled a black lawyer or a female judge they are just a lawyer or a judge and their race or gender has nothing to do with it because we all are people. We believe in school choice we don't believe that schools should be forced upon anybody because of their zip code. We believe in putting money back into communities that need it in the form of education and opportunities. We believe that people should not be paying with their tax money to have planned parenthood go up in basically only black communities. We don't want our taxes going to we basically believe is a genocide of the black race especially since it was started by Margaret Sanger who was a racist and a eugenicist. I mean more black babies in New York I believe 2 years ago were aborted than born alive that is disgusting. Let's not forget it was the left wing people that wanted a statue of harambe the gorilla gone because they said it's offensive to Black people... That is offensive to me that idiots would equate a gorilla statue to black people. The same people that call everything racist and homophobic and sexist see race everywhere. I'm just discovering Angela Davis now, after watching the Netflix Documentary: 13th. Brilliant woman, I would only give this interview 4 of 5 stars because the interviewer didn't seem to recognize that wisdom can't be spouted in sound-bytes, he cut her off too often. Davis is trying to define the nuances between the current generalizations, and the interviewer should have seen that she is so much more intelligent than he is, and let her take the thoughts to places he had never been to.
