It’s called Respect. You don’t have to be and educated or intelligent person to show respect. Once that’s established, proper communication and enlightenment can be obtained and at the very least heard. Then you could get some points across constructively. Now a days..ppl lack that..I think especially politicians. Politicians know that the person that comes out attacking verbally first seems to win the crowd over...above actually saying something intelligent. Bc (IMO) politicians believe their constituents are dumb and need to be told what they should be thinking. SMH 🤦🏻‍♂️

Actually that quote was derived from Alexander Hamilton. You stand for nothing, you fall for everything. Just saying. It's a wonderful saying, still. It means so much today. I liked when Malcolm said, democrats are sheep in wolves clothing, at least you know Republicans, they come as wolves!
@petitor_veritatis1936
@petitor_veritatis1936 2 года назад
@@leithsapitan1428 It's actually been attributed to many sources throughout the years, including even Thomas Jefferson . I choose to attribute the quote to Malcolm X after gathering conflicting data, primarily because it's more befitting to someone with his kind of integrity and intellectual fortitude versus someone who purchased humans at auctions and actually owned slaves. You know what I mean? It just doesn't seem to derive from a master of a Plantation who had his way with black female slaves instead of simply rolling over and grabbing his own wife. Thanks for sharing, but I don't think I'll change the source in this instance. Who's your source? Google? 😂 I also would like to say that I grew up in a house with historic ties to Malcolm X, was told as a child by my parents that this quote belongs to him and was commonly associated with him while he was alive. I am confident therefore that I have made the correct association, verbatim.

Miroslav, This interview was recorded while Malcom El-Shabazz was still member of The Nation of Islam (NOI). When he broke away he was developing into a pretty good speaker. If he had survived longer I believe he would have become much better. Some things that he said that were not true were: The Supreme Court made a law: The Congress makes the law, not the Supreme Court. The Court rules on the constitutionality of a law. Counting slaves as 3/5s of a man: That was a comprise between the slave-holding states and the "so-called" free states. The slavers wanted to count 1slave as 1 person so they could get a majority of representatives in Congress. The states with fewer slaves wore them down to the 3/5s rule so the slave states wouldn't leave the union. DD

@@desultorydilletante4120 When you say that Congress passes laws and not the Supreme Court, it is the same as when someone kills a man and the newspapers announce that he was killed with a knife and the police an hour later announce that he was killed with a firearm, a dead man is a dead man regardless of the way he was killed.
@kimobrien.
@kimobrien. 3 года назад
@@user-gh8nk4ym7r Once every ten years a census of the total number of people who live in the US is used to determine the number of Congressmen from each state. The Slave owners did not want Black men voting but they did want them counted. Today Trump wants to reduce their numbers by not counting those who aren't citizens. Yet the Constitution as currently interpreted counts all people (young or old citizen or non citizen) not just those who are citizens. In fact caucasian non citizens and women voted in many states before the 20th Century. It wasn't till 1920 that the first presidential election was held without any legal voting by non citizens. Many government programs have money disbursed by number of residents not just citizens even if non citizens are not directly benefited.

Many feared him, many wanted to be like him, and then there were those who could not control him but only to cowardly silence him. Your legacy will always and continuously carry on!

The white professor was definitely BOTHERED. Malcolm had such a way with words. His intellect was simply unmatched. Rest your soul Brother Malcolm.

His charisma and intellect is something every man, black or white, should learn from and admire. To point out the white professor's feelings makes you look insecure and slightly stupid. Learn to love. Dont follow the masses.

heartbreaking discrimination I have seen was in Kenya by black middle class, which is quite small, against black poor, which is quite large. Here in USA blacks have been cheated lied to denied humanity Our own constitution says a black person is 3/5 of a white person. Humans have an capacity to be cruel and violent and unjust

Ive watched many of Malcolm's debates and interviews and more often than not..the other men interrupt him, or speak over him when his answer to a question is not to their liking..but I appreciated the common decency that each gentleman gave the other to finish their thought without interjecting. Its always a pleasure to see him debate without allowing emotions to overtake logic and remain eloquent but firm at the same time. ❤️🙏💫

And it's sad to see that our people are so behind intellectually, spiritually, economically and righteously in 2020 decades after the passing of our leaders. To be real, We're supposed to be an upgraded version of MalcomX, harriet Tubman, fredrick Douglas or even Marcus Garvey but instead we got a bunch of ignorant or and unwoken fools walking around in light bodies unaware of what they should already be aware of. It's crazy to me how people would rather complain, beg, & play victim every single day as appose to actually taking action to change their situation.

He was an extension of the NOI. Everything he spat was a paraphrased and uniquely articulate rendition of the very teaching taught to him by Honorable Elijah Mohammad, whom was taught by the Honorable Wallace Fard Mohammad. We can never excuse that part. The Honorable Elijah Mohammad was an amazing strategist when it came to who he appointed in which field of leadership.

yea, i noticed it was very difficult for the host of the interview to put his hooks into Malcolm cause of Malcolm's honesty. and integrity. also by saying clearly that he wasn't interested in politics but religious living, made it very hard for the host to catch him in any way.
