They have been hard on her from week 1....and she is YET to put in a bad performance. I'm never nervous for her because she is extremely capable. Beautiful performance...easily the best dance of the night

@@deltafay1981I agree. Angela gave 100% her all. The judges are definitely biased to some degree and I agree I personally think they’ve been hard on her from the beginning. She’s got beautiful leg shaping and she’s quite light on her feet! I loved the intensity of this too!!

it will be an injustice if angela & carlos do not win 'strictly'!! she is in a league of her own & tonight she should have received four 10's! i guess she may have to wait for the semis or the finals to score 40 points!! mind you, not even alicia dixon scored 40!!

unless angela wanted to leave the competition early for personal reasons, it was a tragedy she & carlos were voted out by 3 judges!! personally, i thought she was the class act in the show, just as helen skelton was last year but both 39yo ladies were victims of politics by the bbc!!!

the powers at be wanted angela & carlos voted off in the next round to allow the same sex couple to make the final, because they knew angela & carlos were possible winners of 'strictly'!!

best ever in my opinion!! angela deserves to win 'strictly' because she ticks all the boxes! she is funny, enthusiastic, likeable, humble, listens to the advice given & is generous in her appreciation of other dancers & of carlos!! not forgetting she is a fabulous dancer with better legs than the late cyd charise!!¬!

angela was easily the best dancer yesterday!! layton & ellie were the best gymnasts but they both made mistakes during their dances!! after last year's injustice, when another 39yo woman, helen skelton, was robbed of the 'strictly' crown, hopefully it won't happen to angie this year!! not only is she a fabulous dancer but she has a great personality & humour!!!@@TAH1712

@@givebackmybreadsticks but it's a public vote and he gets more YT votes than anyone so far - having said that the margins of his lead are getting smaller. Everyone is getting better each week - as it's entertainment, it's a shame were losing one couple each week. I thought Adam was making real improvements but lost to AR in DO. I hope Angela wins. The last two weeks she's really delivered and I love her wit !

angela really did cross to the other side with this performance, both physically & spiritually!! the emotion was etched on her face at the end of the dance & the music!!!

the song may have had a lot of meaning for angela, who looked intense & emotional even after she had stopped dancing & the music had finished!!

they will get to the final & if there is any justice, angela & carlos will win 'strictly'! i picked angela from day one before she even danced!! last year, i picked helen skelton to win but she came 2nd, although most of the public wanted her to win!! i hope angela does not suffer the same injustice this year!!!

angela has never hidden the fact that she was an irish dancer, (river dance), when she was a teenager! unlike last year's winner, hamza, who was in a university dance club when he was younger - which is why helen skelton didn't win!! helen was the same age as angela is now - 39 & also has kids! hopefully, no dodgy decision is going to prevent angela from deservedly winning 'strictly' this year!!

this dance & the 'amy winehouse' biopic both get a major boost with 'back in black' being played!!!

this was the best female argentine tango i've seen on 'strictly' ever!! it may even be the best overall argentine tango in the 20+ years of the competition!!!

Going by the likes on YT, I'm not so sure it' such a done deal now...I see it as a Angela, Elle or Layton final. But Bobby is also getting much better. Tonight though, It was Angela's night. It's getting to be a real competition!

@@TAH1712 TBH I'll be more than a bit miffed if Layton wins. When you consider than Danny Mac was robbed because he was considered to have a lot of dance experience, and was constantly undermarked for that reason too, then the same 'rules' must be applied to Layton!

@@Ann-my1dg Also TBH, often the best dancer hasn't won - in the end it's the publics choice in the final. I've seen this year some great performances with many of the contestants significantly improving and they'll be a few more weeks to go. It's only an entertainment programme - Layton had a huge initial advantage, despite his powerful committed performances, his lead is dwindling... I feel by the time of the final, performances wise, it will be very very close

it was an immense, intense argentine tango!!! best ever on 'strictly' - in my opinion!

i think angela was overwhelmed by what she had just performed!! the song would have contributed to the intensity & emotion she showed! she could hardly speak to tess, whereas usually she is usually bubbly & chatty!!!

She presents a show called your home made perfect it’s really good she’s hilarious

angela, like helen last year, is a slow burner! from now to the final, she will score highly with more 10's coming her way!! there is nobody else on the show that is as good an all round dancer than her & she will continue to outshine the other good dancers!! in my opinion!

I know someone who has worked with her and will tell you that she is a beautiful person inside and out. Great fun and quick witted. Her Argentinian tango was exceptional last night. Herself and Carlos are perfectly suited. e perfectly suited

i thought angie baby looked physically & mentally drained at the end of her dance, such was the intensity!! either that, or she is a brilliant actress as well as a brilliant dancer!!

this was a fantastic performance from angela!! she has shown an enthusiastic, almost child like, ent6husiasm throughout the show! even when she received criticism from the judges, she took it on the chin & accepted their advice & came out stronger the following week!! this was the best & classiest dance of this year's 'strictly' & maybe the best ever argentine tango by angela & carlos!! for me, she is favourite to win 'strictly', not only for her dancing but her humour, praise for other dancers & a determination not to be phased by low marks- it will be a travesty if she doesn't! i think she will dominate the show over the last 4 weeks!! let's hope angela is not on the back of a bad result like last year, when i thought helen skelton was robbed of the title!!! i think angela is a slightly better dancer than helen but both are brilliant!!

angela & carlos' argentine tango may well have been the best ever in 'strictly' history! certainly by a woman anyway!! the show will be all the poorer now she has gone! i think that both annabel & nigel were very close to her & weren't expecting her to go!! angela will feel better when another dancer goes this week & she will feel slightly better when the show finishes in just over 2 weeks time!! i assume she will be on the 'strictly' tour next year, when she will be the star of the show with her, crowd pleasing 'damn yankees', 'black swan' & 'back to black' routines!! all the best!! ps! i'm still feeling angry that she was voted off, because i think it was political!!@@jenniesmith2924

i've watched the recording of this dance 10 times & it gets better every time!! craig gave her an 8 but i think he knows angela is the best dancer left in the show & he is using reverse psychology to make people vote for her because they think they are getting at him!! if i was a bookie, i would make angela favourite to win 'strictly', as she is such a class act, although i did say the same about helen skelton last year, & she was robbed!!

angela was one emotional lady at the end of that fantastic, mesmerizing, emotive, smouldering dance routine to 'back to black'!!!

if you had seen this dance at the theatre you would think it was fantastic! the ending of the dance was like angela having an 'out of body'experience!! i will be very disappointed if she & carlos don't win 'strictly' - just as i was last year, when helen skelton, also 39 & has children, was runner up, while carlos reached the final with his partner!!!

it looked as though angela had 'gone to the other side' for a few seconds, as she held her intense, emotional expression even though the dance & music had finished!! personally, i don't want anybody else winning 'strictly' but i do hope annabel makes the final!!

angela was under the microscope because it was a slow dance & she had no other dancers to take the attention away from her, unlike ellie & layton!! there is no romance going on between angela & carlos but there is a great chemistry between them!! if the law of averages is anything to go by, they should win 'strictly'!! carlos was in the final last year, while angela, 39, is the same age as last year's runner up, helen skelton, who really should have been the winner, in my opinion!

angela's expression at the end was a look of someone who knew she had been part of a special dance!!

angela has the most beautifully shaped legs which is why she is the best all round dancer on the show!! not a pole dancer, gymnast or cheerleader, like layton & ellie!!!

This was good but best Argentine Tango ever for me was Mark Ramprakash and Karen Hardy.

angela & carlos argentine tango was better than ellie & vito's - even though they both got 38 points from the judges!! i agree that mark & karen's argentine tango was exceptional, btw!! i also tipped them to win 'strictly' before the dancing began!!!@@barrydalton9051

angela deserves to win 'strictly' not just for her brilliant, versatile dancing but her attitude, humour, modesty & sheer joy at getting high marks, while showing acceptance when they are low!!

angela has treated 'strictly' for what it is - an entertainment show!! however, she must feel a great pride in this performance which seemed to have an emotional affect on her!! she is normally very bubbly but i believe she realised the enormity of what a sensational routine this was, which was why she was so quiet when she & carlos went to tess & the judges!! just my opinion!

angela has an almost child like enthusiasm when she is not dancing but it changes to full on concentration when it comes to the dance!! her enthusiasm, energy & acceptance of criticism from the judges would have endeared her to much of the public!! her & carlos have really hit it off as a hard working partnership based on trust & friendship!! i think she & carlos would be worthy winners of 'strictly' & i will be disappointed if they don't win, just as i was when helen & gorka didn't win last year but should have!!! helen was the same age as angela now, ie, 39 & also has children!!!

angela was under more scrutiny than any of the other celebrity dancers on the floor with them, because it was only carlos & her dancing & the judges were not looking at him!! not forgetting the argentine tango was a slow dance, whereas, ellie & layton had high energy dances - neither were perfect in my opinion! i will be disappointed if angela & carlos don't go on to win 'strictly' now, especially as i think they are far superior to the other 5/6 dancers!!

​@normankennith7919 this is a great point you make right here. But maybe you could argue a non- dancer like Annabel being surrounded by 4 instead of 1 dancer doesn't exactly mean they are under less scrutiny....the potential to stick out even more would surely be apparent!

It was great but not a 10. Lifts were not as fab as they could have been, her leg action needed more pep and she needed more attack at the beginning. Craig giving an 8 was ridiculous though. As it was for Annabel's dance

i think more dancers on the floor would have been detrimental to the argentine tango dance!! however, because it was a slow dance, angela was much more exposed than the other celebrity dancers, which gave kudos to her! neither layton or ellie were foot perfect but craig still gave them both 9 along with 3 tens!! they have peaked too soon, while angela has only just got started!! she is bound to score many more 10''s over the coming weeks!!!@@pennyandfishy7241
