I see Angela a lot. She lives back in St. Louis and goes to Bethesda Temple. I actually go to her grandfather's church. She is really sweet and we speak all the time.
She is so beautiful, talented and I grew up listening to her. Her voice is incredible it is sad that she did not record anymore music, she was truly underated. I would love to see her in concert. Ronald was a fool for letting her go.

Her songwriting and production skillz are dope. She had to fight to set her standards in the industry. I wish that she could'a kept it goin' since the 'A'ngela' recording 'cuz that's an awesome LP. The labels didn't want to exhaust their efforts to promote it, not to mention Ron Isley. She was being overshadowed by his clout and he didn't really support her musically(or at least in my point of view). Regardless, she is a purist in my book!!!
Wow! I'd marry her in a second. She is beautiful from head to toe & such a rare talent. Her singing voice is among the best of all time & she's written & produced so many classics, not only for her solo work but also for Rene & Angela & countless others. Shine girl, shine like the sun.
Before I read this comment, this was the EXACT thing I said. I think that Aaliyah may have copied Angela's style after remodeling her image from that swagged-out street style, to a more Angela Winbush type of style.

Miss Queen Angela Winbush was Angela Winbush-Isley who doesn’t deserve to be treated like this because of her previous husband who was Ronald Isley who was treating his previous wife like she was nothing to him when he was cheating on her with someone else and then they were divorced when they were not married because of her husband who was mistreating her for cheating on her and then he was ruining her finances because he was trying to get everything that she wanted from him and he was taking advantage of her and he was taking everything from her!
