I don’t believe this song can ever be done better. I never really cared for this song. But I’ve listen to this dozens of times in the last week. I’ve been addicted to Angelina for the last two years+, and this is like Angelina 16.0.

Angelina, doing some supermodel practice, a perfect audio recording already in the can. In this video her voice reminds me of a young river otter playing in snowy spring slide paths along the banks of her home river. Diving under the river ice for way too long, just to prove she can. Mom ignoring that, experience. Chasing a few small fish into some seaweed not really trying to catch them, cause we trust mom to catch us all the fish we want, she always has. LOOK what I can do! You said this came from Instagram. Does that mean that it didn’t get produced by Republic? I think her songs are better when she doesn’t have a lot of people telling her what to do, she then can just sing from her heart, which is what she was doing here. I've heard many versions of this and never cared for any of them. After hearing AJ's cover it's as though I'm hearing it for the first time and I love it.

Hi Mace, Best reaction video to date, I've seen regarding Angelina's latest rendition of My Funny Valentine. Succinct, exactly to the point and using all the right words (e.g. gravitas). Republic Records who signed Angelina to their label when she was just 14 years old, obviously knew she's going to be an absolute worldwide phenomenon & incredibly she's still getting better 😀 Can you imagine if she dueted with some of Republic Records other great artists such as Sam Smith or Taylor Swift 👍😉 Angelina would absolutely explode onto the world stage 🌎

Her voice caresses the ears as she slides and dances across the notes, plays with dynamics and her voice. It makes me feel so good and smile.

Whatever genre she decides to sing she will incorporate an element of jazz to her version and create a whole new sound (which she has been doing) to a much broader audience for everyone in the world to listen to and enjoy. Angelina melts my heart with this performance. I wish everyone person on Earth knew her music. That day WILL come but while her family doesn't want her promoted yet (wise move), it is up to us. I, along with other angels, have been working with hundreds of reactors on RU-vid over the past year encouraging them to better support the artists they feature. You have to realize that these young kids who are trying to make it big in the industry have nothing but their fans and RU-vid reactors to help promote them. I think reactors, with their unique platforms, are are in a unique position to help these artists advance their careers. They should provide the links to the official channels and the original video. They should encourage the viewers to like comment and subscribe to those links, either verbally or with text boxes. They should do everything possible to help the artists that they are dependent on, for they will get a reward in return in the form of more subscriptions to their own channel due to fan loyalty. I encourage you to participate with the growing number of reaction channels that are embracing these ideas.

I think Angelina can do things others won't even try. Look at it this way, If there was a singing competition setup like a heptathlon (with 7 different types/genres of songs to be performed), Angelina would win hands down. That is how versatile and seasoned she is. Make it harder and say all the songs must be performed in an afternoon, her margin of victory would increase! Great comments Mace!

She barely keeps tears at bay when she sings and is really shaken during the final comments as the spectators and the judges. There are Russian subtitles (don't select the auto-generated one) and the auto translation to english works well.
