I think you're right. She participated in AGTtC for a reason. That will be the catalyst to launch her career worldwide. You get a lot of positive exposure if you perform well in such TV shows. Releasing a new album a few weeks after AGTtC is finished will be a smart move too. I think we can expect Angelina to even do concerts in USA this year.

@@borgerborgersen372 Agree 100% with all you said here. Is she signed by a record label? If so, well thought out release by them. If not, then Angelina's handlers are genuses.

@@bertpainter8385 She is not yet signed, but she has a new album ready with jazz originals. It was done last year and probably postponed until after AGCtC. I have a feeling Angelina will cooperate with Simon in some way. He will provide exposure and the rest is up to Angelina. Simon knows what he is doing. He has wanted Angelina to appear on his show for years. Now she is doing it. He understands her huge potential in becoming a new superstar. Angelina telling in public she has wanted to sing for Simon for 10 years is another sign of that. Angelina's family know how hard it is for a Norwegian artist to make a breakthrough globally without professionals behind them. They have rejected record companies until now. After Angelina's AGTtC success I guess they will get signed. I won't be surprised if that is Simon's company. We can like it or not, but he is definitely no worse than Warner, Sony or Universal.

@@borgerborgersen372 Thanks. From what I understand with Simon contracts is he's like a broker. He makes the deals and then join forces with other recording company's. He did this with all his signees. I have looked into one of them and the recording company who is involved, which is Sony/Arista records. They have said they want young unique/different artist. They will allow them to beat to their own drum and not try to change who they are. I wouldn't be surprised if she is signed by Simon that Arista records gets involved too. They have a long time storied past with mega stars and have recently restructured themselves with a top CEO David Massey who's been around music for sometime and revamped a number of big companies. Nothing but the best for her. And I wonder if her family chose to wait on letting her get out there partly to get this opportunity, now that she's a bit older and has had the chance to enjoy being a child. This is just an opinion. I wish I knew more of what really goes on.

To hear a 13yr old Norwegian girl sing a song based on a Robbie Burns poem was, to an English lover of Burns, A piece of pure magic. What a great talent this lovely young lady is.
