Angelina is definitely coming out with a new album. Probably very soon! You said it just right... she's bringing back jazz with a 21st century vibe. I agree that this is her "lane", but she is a multi-lane highway. Her jazzy stuff is gold, but her ballad stuff is gold too. Jazz, Blues, Soul, Pop, Techno.... it doesn't matter... everything she touches is gold.

I've read that she has actually recently patented a name for her unique style, and is calling it "jazz-pop."

(“The initial idea for 7th Heaven was that I love the number 7 and heaven is such a powerful word and makes you dream away,” she explained. “I collaborated with Stargate to create ‘7th Heaven.’ The background story of making this song was that I had this melody that I played for Tor and Mikkel and it turned out that they loved the idea and it went pretty smooth from there to the finish the song.”) This genre is kind of jazz/soul/R&B/pop. Actually Angie made a new genre her patented Jazzy/pop. Her Angie style. Lets get out there & promote Angie's song, ask for it on your local radio stations, tell friends, relatives & neighbors etc etc, or it will end up like her last great single. etc. Angie wrote this & Stargate produced this. Angie actually proves her genius on the writing & why it's short. At the end most are craving more so you go back to listen to it again & again etc etc. Plus she ends that last word on Hope & on a high note for than you come down naturally or as most they just keep listing to the positive message. I count at least ten different vocal skills or technical abilities in Angelina's rendition that vocal coaches would agree that she executes to perfection. She sounds so mature and she remains, since she was ten, in complete control of her voice. Her puberty nearing its end does not seem to have deepened her voice more than it was already nor to affect her normal vocal range. The lyrics assemble a collection of well-known motivational and inspirational quotes that gives to the song its solid moral ground. I agree with all your comments, Omeezy. Yes, the audio video version is way too short; everybody complains about it. I cannot wait to see the studio version, which will be longer, I hope. All viewers should make sure to subscribe to Omeezy channel. It costs nothing, but it means everything to him,. He is doing a great job at supporting and promoting Angelina's career. In this song it's clear that Angelina is absolutely a blues soul, she sings melancholy, pain, loneliness, love, hope, in an completely special and unique way. I have posted in several different reactors channels and said Angelina is single handedly redefining and bringing jazz back to the masses and making it cool again. She is also introducing it to the younger generation that really hasn’t been introduced to the jazz genre. IMO, Angelina incorporated Jazz, R&B and pop in this new song. Therefore, she created her own genre which I dubbed, “The Angelina Affect”. I glad to see that your going to be releasing your new music. Good luck with that and your move to a new place.

Great reaction and very perceptive comments! Indeed, this is jazz for the 2020s. But why so short? I think that old time record scratch at the beginning and end is a hint. On the old 78 RPM records from the jazz age, a little under three minutes was all you could fit. So make it short and sweet, with a lot of hooks, and people will listen to it again and again. That makes the abrupt ending a smart move as well: no problem, just push replay!

This style of jazz is 'old time' and was referred to as 'Swing' back in the day. A version of a similar sounding 'beat' and 'vibe' was presented on BGT - 2018 by Simon Crowel. The vocalist was Aleksander Mileusnic and his song was a personally arranged version of 'Seven Nation Army'. This singer didn't have the abilities of Angelina but he still received a standing ovation from Simon, the other judges, and 'most important' the audience. Tells me that if AJ had sung this there she would have blown the roof off the place.
