As a potential Angelina fan you have to be "spelled." This version of Bohemian Rhapsody is the "ying" of Angelina, while her B & W studio version of I Put A Spell On You is her "yang." A 50 yo African American jazz singer comes out of her itty bitty 9 yo body to perform the song. After watching that, you will definately be a fan & can watch her remaining 123 songs across all genre including 3 originals written by her & 1 original written for her. From 6-9 years old, Angelina was a phenomenal child singer, from 10-12 her voice had matured to that of a professional woman singer & she recorded her album "It's Magic." For the last year or 2 she has developed the voice of a world-class superstar & has been my favorite singer since I discovered her 2 years ago. I highly recommend her cover of A Million Years Ago when she was 12, it's beautiful, highly emotive & will make you cry. Welcome to the World of Angelina Jordan. She is 6' tall now. She really sprouted between 11-12. Yep, that's our Angelina. She is worth going back to the begging to see where she came from. She arranges all her own music. So Simon is right. She re-wrote the song to fit the time limits of the show. At some point in time she may sing a fuller version, but right now this is it. I guess the remaining members of Queen really liked her performance and tweeted her and then re-tweeted the performance to every one on their tweet list. The bare foot thing is it's own story. The outfit she is wearing she sewed herself. The pattern on the material is from a painting her grandmother painted(she is a well- known artist in Norway). Angelina is special, not just as an artist but as a human being. We are going to be hearing from her for awhile. Her performance on 'Norway's Got Talent' was sublime. I am glad you reacted to her so now you know why 'we' are all nuts for her, and I'm a 68 year old curmudgeon who thought the last good music ended when Duane Allman died. You do not know him I'm pretty sure, so look up The Allman Bros. Band if you're curious. If not, he died in 1971. And because Angelina is new to you and maybe some of your followers, please read this little bio to learn a little about what an amazing and kind soul she is... *Angelina Jordan* - Angelina Jordan was born Jan 10 2006 in Oslo, Norway. She just turned 14 (13 in this performance) - She began singing at the age of one and a half - At 2 or 3 she discovered Jazz through her grandmother and started listening to all the greats from Jazz history on youtube. *Angelina always sings barefoot* When Angelina was 6, she was traveling with her grandmother and met a poor girl with no shoes trying to make money on the streets. The girl complimented her on her pretty shoes, so Angelina took them off and gave them to the girl. She made a vow to always sing barefoot until all the children of the world could have shoes. To this day, whenever Angelina is performing in public, she sings barefoot to remind us that there are less fortunate people in the world that could use our help. It was her that asked her mother to take her to Norways Got Talent, where she auditioned at 7 years old and went on to win the show at just 8 years old. - In an interview after the show, when asked what she was going to do with the prize money, the 8 year old replied, "I would like to give it to orphans that need clothes and shoes" - When Angelina was 9 years old she became the youngest published author in Norway, when she wrote a book about the story of why she doesn't wear shoes when she sings. She donated proceeds from the sales of the book to help children in need. - The reason you may not have heard of her is because her parents are very protective of her childhood. They do not want her to be thrust into stardom before she has a chance to grow up as a normal child, and finish her education. They allow her to do a few select shows (mainly private and charity events) with a couple public shows every year when she is out of school. Her mother said in an interview that they have turned down 90% of the offers that come in. I have heard they have turned down offers from many record labels and even disney. - Angelina has covered more than 100 songs over the last 6 years. She always selects the songs herself... everything ranging from old classic jazz to modern pop. She is able to change her voice to match any song she sings and make it her own. (she can cover Amy Winehouse and Lana del Rey and many other artists like nobody else can) - Angelina has collaborated with some very big names over the last few years... You need headphones or earbuds to appreciate all the nuances in her voice. BTW, not cut down, she made that arrangement, she does all of her own arrangements...like always, specifically for this performance to demonstrate in two minutes as much as possible of her voice control, power and range. This is a talent contest after all, not a cover channel.

Just for your information Angelina chooses all of her songs and creates the arrangements. For this performance they are only giver 2 minutes. She felt many of the lyrics were not appropriate for a girl her age to sing , so she took lines out of the song and created what you heard. There is no rest of the song to hear. She has the unique ability to arrange songs to fit her mood and style. Most of them have a jazz feeling.Many people feel you have to be older to experience life to be able to emote the feelings of many songs . But she defies all the norms.She told her mother after watching a show like this 10 years ago , that one day she would like to sing for Simon. At five she wanted to try out for Norway's got talent but her mother wanted her to wait until she was.She blew the judges minds when she performed. The could not believe what they were hearing was coming from a 7 year old. This competition was for talent of all ages and she won it all.After she won she was 8 and came to this country and performed on the View and on Little Big Shots , and amazed them all.She never gets nervous about singing. She has performed in crows of 40,000.She did a concert this past July. I suggest you watch the whole thing, sings 14 songs from many different artists. I had watched her utube when she was a 10 years old joining the country got talent. She won the title n she sings in public n loves to sing barefooted...her comfort zone of herself. Most of her songs are classical musics.
