Adele would hate it. Adele recently said she thinks people should not cover her songs.I think it’s because she heard this and hated hearing her song sung better than she can sing it.
You should head to the inner cities or the mountains of Appalachia and listen to people who don't have to practice, they were born with the ability to sing the phonebook. While this girl is talented and has heart, she is far from the perfect vocalist. If she were the greatness she wants to be, she would have world wide sales, when she gets there, I'll say she made it.

I just watched your previous reaction to Angelina’s “You Say”, where you sort of joked that it’s both good and bad for a singer when Angelina chooses to cover their song. This is a prime example. Yes, Adele is an amazing singer and songwriter, but she doesn’t have Angelina’s vocal tools. Actually, I never heard any singer who does. Her vocal control, her runs, riffs, and the endless vocal textures all are used perfectly to deliver the emotion of this beautiful song. And this is live-one take. And as you continue with other Angelina songs, you’ll see that she covers five or six completely different genres as effortlessly and authentically as you just heard. Angelina is, simply, the best singer I’ve ever heard.

And she is being accompanied on piano by artistic director of her record label Republic Records in both of them. His name is Rob Christie and he is a two time Grammy winner and multiple time nominee. He also accompanied her in her rendition of "Suspicious Minds", made popular by Elvis. She was 16 in that one. Another one with those two is from her virtual visit from Norway to California, during the height of the pandemic. Angelina was 15 years old, performing "Heal The World" by Michael Jackson. You are correct. I had of course heard of Adele, but I had never listened to any of her music. I must have heard covers that Angelina did, but had no idea who sang them originally. It all started for me with "All I Ask". That song just reached deep down inside me and uncovered emotions that had been buried for a long time. Seeing that it was an Adele cover, I thought I may as well listen to the original and see how well she covered it. I didn't make it half way through before turning it off. Adele's original just seemed 'bland' after hearing Angelina sing it. I think Adele has a nice voice, but it just doesn't have the emotion that Angelina has.

Oh yeah, definitely gave Adele a run. Adele is amazing and it's her song. But I don't know, I prefer Angie's voice, warmer, less sharp. She adds on more flavors and style than Adele too I find. The breaks, soul at points in and around the word "child" are just nuts. 15 year old kid decided to be Etta James, Adele and Mariah Carey all in one song🤷♂😂🤩. and But both are incredible though. I know I thought Adele was easily the best in the world before Angelina just became too much once I soaked in enough of her stuff.

I listened to this and Adele's version back to back and Angelina didn't " give her a run for her money" , she sounds much better that Adele, at least to my ear. It's not that, as you say, Adele may have sounded like this when she was a teenager, it's more like Adele probably wishes she sounded as good as this teenager right now!
Not an insult to Adele as no one else can match AJ either, but as a vocalist, Adele can not match AJ. Adele has to push her voice to achieve what AJ can with ease.

He went off on his own and had a solo career.. they found a new lead singer on RU-vid I believe who is an Asian guy and I think at the time he didn't speak English but he sounded nearly identical to Steve Perry when he sang their songs.. I am one of the very few who don't think Angelina is so amazing. Sure she can sing, She has nothing special. All the songs I have heard are slow ballads. They all sound the same. I have not once heard a song with a beat. Please remember this is my opinion just as everyone here has stated their opinions. I guess growing up in the 60s and 70s I didn't hear much music like this. ✌❣

You say she doesn't have any songs of her own, she doesn't have an exceptional voice, she can't sing high or low, she doesn't have a contract with a major label. She has some of her own songs and has had a contract with Reüublic Records since she was 14 years old. Some of the best and most famous musicians of our time have worked with her and all of them acknowledged her outstanding talent. Quincy Jones put her on a par with Michael Jackson. There is so much more to say about her, but that would go beyond the scope of this article. But as I said, you don't need to pursue her any further and you and she can live well with it. I just find it very presumptuous to judge someone whose personality you don't know and you don't know anything other than what you think you can recognize from a song.
