This was Angelina's performance that first drew attention to her and that was her mother Sara crying backstage. Sara has said that in that moment she realized Angelina was no longer just her child, but that she belonged to the entire world.

Great reaction and they just get better and better! It never stops, it is kind of scary, how good can someone get is a constant thought. Since age 13, you thought how can she get better, then 14, 15, 16 and now 17 and every song you hear the improvement. She is 10 years from full vocal cord development and 20 years until her Prime. Take a minute and really think about it, God Bless!

I love jazz, but" Gloomy Sunday "was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad where I wanted to listen to jazz on RU-vid before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song "Gloomy Sunday" that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for mom, she said that this song is nice, but that it was incredibly sad song. "

@@wippletits I honestly don't recall now. I know some of those interviews had subtitles and some didn't. Some of the same interviews had with and without. I'm sure the quote is accurate but I can't be more specific than that. Best bet would be to find the interview with subtitles. Let me know if you find it and I'll look for it if I have a chance. ♥👣🔥

@@wippletits I try not to take credit for any quote I use. Thus I posted the interview it came from. I've been following Angelina for about 4 yrs. After I found her I did a deep dive of everything I could find. Every interview I could find every article and anything else related. If the quote came from you I may have not have included the name of the commenter which sounds like it was you. In those days I may not have thought to include you in the reference. I try to be more careful about those things these days. I don't want to be spreading myths and inaccuracies In Angelina's story. I've noticed you've been challenging some of these myths or inaccuracies and I applaud you for that. I always try to point them out myself when I see them and I know the truth. I also have changed my own comment when i make a mistake that is pointed out. We're on the same team but I have a feeling you didn't thinks so. I want Angelina's story to be as true and accurate as it can be and I believe it is up to all of her fans to strive for that. I have made a mistake I'm sure but I always welcome a correction when I do. I once got accused of making things up in the story of meeting the young homeless girl. They said there was no way she said she took her shoes off and stepped on the scale many times and at the time I didn't remember where I had gotten the story so I started to doubt myself. Then a day or two later I found it. It came directly from Angelina book which of course I have a copy of. I don't like being accused of falsehoods or making stuff up. Not good and of course when I pointed that out to my accuser they suddenly had no reply. I hope I've satisfied your curiosity. . 🙂♥👣🔥

Regarding fame and celebrity: There are many examples of children who became famous at a young age. Sometimes some of these have had difficulties later in life! Angelina's family wants Angelia to have a normal upbringing and be a child and teenager like everyone else. When Angelina is off from school, she has performed in tons of shows all over the world. Most were charity shows for children. Angelina has lived in several countries and traveled a lot during her upbringing. She is well aware of the different conditions that exist in different countries! Angelina and her family have turned down many who wanted to sign a contract with her. But at 14, she signed on for the Republican record. The condition of this contract is that Angelina and her family decide when it is time to promote her fully.

I'm hoping that pust to the top is beginning now. I believe she graduated this spring. LP dropping soon and the rest of the Album this fall. Her appearances at The Unforgettable Gala, FIFA Best Player Awards ceremony singing the theme song 'We're the Best' to the world and her recent appearance on Germany's Next Top Model with her Golden Buzzer Mama Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara. ♥👣🔥

Ashley, I love your hoodie. Very 60's and Angelina brings us back to that era and even further, such as this song from the 30's. Angelina has set a new standard for what is possible by a child vocalist and I doubt that I will ever see anyone approach it in my lifetime. I will give a shoutout to Putri Ariani, who won Indonesia's Got Talent at age 8. She is a great talent but I will leave it to the professional vocal coaches as to who was more advanced at a given age. I have to believe singing jazz is more difficult than other genres. Bottom line, both Putri and Angelina are awesome and deserve great respect.

I feel like you! I am also proud of Angelina and what she does. I do not know why. I just sit here and follow her career, year after year. Of course, I understand that my thoughts and what I think do not affect who she is! But after all these years, she is like a granddaughter to me. So the content of this is that I, like you, am very proud of Angelina.

Beautiful reaction Ashley to this video that I have seen hundreds of times and, punctually, it moves me to tears, I still can't believe the incredible talent of this creature, not an imitation as some stupid writes, but a reinterpretation of a complex piece in everything, come on lyrics to the melody and Angelina offers us with her wonderful interpretation that makes it fresh and current all at 7 years old.. scary!
