No worries about becoming emotional watching this, I am almost 70 years old man and this girl just touches your heart, it is who she is, a wonderful human being from this age and still a wonderful beautiful human being with an unmatched talent. Thanks for your reaction Liz. This was fantastic, It went viral and was even showed in the news in my country. I think my goosebumps over this, is because I knew I was experiencing something very special and unique. Angelina has surprised and amazed me time and time again. She is to this day still special and unique.
Here is a quote from Angelina (7y) from an interview with TV2 after her Audions NTG 2014. "The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but" Gloomy Sunday "was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad where I wanted to listen to jazz on RU-vid before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song "Glommy Sunday" that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. That was it, Liz! Angelina's introduction to the world. Everything about her was on display including her poise and confidence. When the gentleman asked her what was the song about that could have been a very tense moment but Angelina's, "A sad Sunday", answer indicated she was not just singing words but knew exactly what the song was about. That moment had to raise your eyebrows and make you wonder, "Who is this child?" Among all the great video's Angelina has produced this one will remain on one of those special levels for all time.
Oh my, Liz. What a lovely human being you are, hun. Don't worry - we all get emotional and cry when we see Angelina's NGT performances. It would not be possible to care less than we do about her. She's a miracle and such a blessing and gift to us all. And, this is where our journey with her all started. It is impossible, as a angel, to not get emotional each time watching this video of her audition. Angelina choosing "Gloomy Sunday" fits into her story. Often when watching her videos for the first time, you ask yourself, "how is it possible?"
Liz, don't worry about the emotions and the tears. All of us fans experience that still, even after dozens of viewings. You are not just a reactor, you are a fan and an angel! Angelina just has a way of penetrating your soul. If you are not aware, this audition was Angelina's introduction to the world and the video went viral. Her talent, poise, and confidence were already very evident at 7 years old. Being a huge Billie Holiday fan, I couldn't believe that a 7 year old Norwegian girl could emulate the vocals of Billie so closely, as she does in this song. It is when all the talk about Billie being reincarnated in Angelina, for if you allow for more subtle power appearing in Billie's rendition, there is no appreciable difference when I listen to them separately. When she did the same 'vocal chameleon' application to Dinah Washington's 'What A Difference A Day Makes', when Angelina was 8, it became clear that she can emulate other A-List singers voices whenever she desires. Even parts of Adele's 'Easy On Me' by Angelina, makes the listener think that Adele's superb voice is also inserted in parts of Angelina's rendition. She is the most versatile singer of different genre singing on the planet and deserves to be called a 'vocal chameleon', for as the lizard is able to change its body colors to match its current surroundings, Angelina does this 'vocally'. Have never heard anyone as adept as her in this regard.

Lovely reaction. If you watch only one more from Norway's Got Talent, watch her final performance, "Summertime" (Gershwin). Her second performance (NGT 2) is her singing Frank Sinatra's "I'm a Fool to Want You" before a judge's elimination panel. She sang this completely acapella. Her 3rd performance (NGT 3) was televised/live audience performance of Nancy Sinatra's version of "Bang, Bang". Her final performance singing "Summertime" (NGT 4). Her voice continues to improve almost exponentially since "Gloomy Sunday", and her missing permanent tooth has grown in. For NGT 4, her "Summertime" performance is preceded by a NGT Spotlight on Angelina. Immediately after her performance, the third segment begins. The judges speak to Angelina about how she's impacted each of them. The 4th segment is about her being named the winner, and begins at the 8 min mark, and lasts for almost 5 minutes (most reactors clip the lengthy victory part off). My recommendation is to watch part 1-3, starting at the beginning of the video and ending after the judge's remarks. Many of there words still echo in my head whenever I hear Angelina sing. I have seen this audition many times and it is wonderful to see each time and see her enter the limelight for the first time. What I find fascinating to see is this adorable little girl enter the stage with her wild hair, missing teeth and confident and she is making the audience go 'awwwwww'. Then she starts singing and the artist emerges and the jury and audience go silent and thinking 'WOW'. Even at that age she captivates the audience, touches their hearts and makes them pay full attention to her performance. Has anyone else noticed a drastic increase in Reaction videos? Her family have been holding back but I am already feeling the tide swelling. Reactions to Angelina and new reactors jumping on board are all increasing significantly in just the past few months. It used to be easy to keep up with new reactions I could easily watch them all by the time I went to bed often I'm searching for more. Not any more! The reactions and new reactors dropping videos have been increasing at an accelerating rate. I can no longer keep up and have found myself having to skip some. And that rate has been increasing. All of this I am sure is due to the anticipated release of her new Album for Republic Records & her upcoming concerts. I feel a tsunami brewing and a damn about to break. Prepare yourself it's coming…

I have noticed it, too. It wasn't long ago that I seemed to be watching all reaction videos relating to Angelina ... even if knew I didn't much care for the reactor. Now I find myself skipping some, too. And I was on the fence about making the trip from the US to Norway for an AJ concert, but something in the air has compelled me to make the arrangements to be in Sandefjord on July 10th. I'm very excited now! It would be so amazing to be there and she introduces a new song that will be on her new album!!
The song is about a dark period in history where people committed suicide after World War II so the last judge asked her if she knew what the song was about of course Angelina at this age should not know about such things ... regardless she gave the soul in the song. Angelina herself has said, in an interview, that she knew exactly what the song was about! Do not underestimate her! Unfortunately, I do not have the link that proves this, but the evidence is out there in the digital world. She also explained, at the same time, that she is good at the English language. Remember, Angelina is special and much more mature than a normal child.
I do not underestimate Angelina from what I know she at this age did not know it was a mass suicide The same thing happened with the song at age 10 "I still hold you" Her mother did not want the song came out because in the end it is about suicide. @@SuperLiorr there is no evidence to confirm that the family had any concerns about the the lyrics (suicide) " I'm still holding out for you " none whatsoever , it's all Chinese whispers and best not prepeptuated It's imo more likely the family did not want this song officially released because it would bring to much attention on 10/11 year old , but that is just my theory. why was ANGELINA allowed to perform "GLOOMY SUNDAY " a suicide song. no concerns from the family it seems there ,no my theory seems more probable .ps,however it was not the families decision to make as they did not own the rights to the song, it belongs to the composer's which includes " baby fuzz.
