I'm 67 and I have listened to a lot of different artists, but have never heard anything like her,she is by far my favorite.

No matter what Angelina sings, she completely embodies the soul of the song, and this one is a prime example. She holds nothing back with this delivery. She gives that cute wave and flashes a sweet smile, and then proceeds to throw so much stank on this vocal that it just smacks you right in the face. Just like you said, whatever song she is singing, she will make you think she is the one that wrote it. ...now if you wanna have some fun, go play just the audio of this for someone, and see if they believe you when you tell them they are listening to a 7th grader. ;)

I have watched this over and over…when she does that long long blast and leans into the mike it causes me to have an burst of emotion every single time …. So glad to see you experience it as well

She embodies past performers then adds her own magic to her vocals. She actually had begun singing when she was 18 months old. Her Grandmother had a large influence on her. Her Grandmother has a large collection of the Old Performers like Billie Holiday, Etta James in addition to other. Then she adds her favorites like Amy Winehouse.

Angelina's natural talent to create her arrangements along with changing her voice to fit a given song is remarkable and she has been doing it from her earliest days. I can't wait for her upcoming album which promises to have mostly, if not all, original songs. When we return from Angelina's special world at the end of the song, we always say that song was too short. MissMegan you are a true angel now and welcome to the club. Out of respect for any child performer I always prefer to refrain from any vulgar language but that is just my preference.

On another review of this performance someone noted that Angelina had just got the new expensive mike and was singing into the back of it. It should have the red brand label facing the singer. It didn't matter, she still sounded great. Angelina got great value over the next few years recording so many great songs using that mike.

Great great reaction. It feels like we're all at the Cavern Club listening to the Beatles before few outside of Liverpool had heard of them, but knowing they were insanely great. The world has not discovered Angelina Jordan yet. Can't wait til they do.

Love your enthusiasm and appreciation of Angelina's talent, Megan 😊 Of course she deserves to be at the top of the charts!!! But because of her age (she turned 15 last week), she and her family didn't want her to skyrocket to stardom but rather let her mature as a person, enjoy her childhood and build a solid base for career. She has been literally hunted by record labels and producers since she was 8 when she won Norway's Got Talent and rejected every contract until now when she signed with Republic Records (UMG) in September/October. As you know being so young, stardom can really take you to dark places none of us wants Angelina to go. She has two or three concerts scheduled for July in Norway that were postponed from 2020 to 2021. But in my opinion, she might release an album late in the year as well. Let us hope 🤞😊

Yep just another awesome song by Angelina. I really was blown away my first time listening to it. I had to go and hear how Etta sang it and after hearing 4 or 5 different recordings there is one of Etta just sitting in a chair with a mic just belting out this song with all of the fry that Angelina put into her performance. It was uncanny how she chose this version to sing. This one was sung different than the other ways that Etta sang the same song, arrangements, settings, band. Anyway thank you for a great reaction. I'm glad that you are so excited about discovering Angelina and you are going to be doing more reactions to her music. If you want to really be floored listen to "I Who Have Nothing" performed in a recording studio in one take when she was 6 yrs old. A whole year before winning Norway's Got Talent. Simply superb video. My personal favorite video by Angelina is "Stay". It gets the tear ducts working overtime every time I hear it.

I would like to suggest though even if you don't make a reaction video please listen to her four performances on Norway's Got Talent, I promise you will be amazed. Seems no matter what genre she does she can do better than anyone else can. My personal favorites are A MILLION YEARS AGO, STAY, SOMEONE YOU LOVED which was the finale on AGT champions, AT LAST her cover of Etta James, her early cover of WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES, and her early cover on NGT of SUMMERTIME. Of course there are many others which stand out which she is better than the original. Her other original songs are WHAT IS LIFE her first original, OSLO which she wrote on a plane trip back home , and SHIELD which she co-wrote but I believe the lyrics are hers.

It's very difficult to understand how it's possible for her to make such an interpretation, she is simply insane. This song is an example of her way of dealing with the songs her chooses to play, she can do everything, in each song she looks for her key to sing it and since she has a thousand keys, she just has to have fun and see which key she thinks is the best one to sing. use. ❤️ It's very nice to be able to see, in this test, the way in which she manages to perfectly convey the sense of pain of abandonment, with that exasperated use of her scratched voice, which makes one shiver with the pleasure of listening to her. 😳

Sitting on a couch singing and she sounds so good. I could image what it would sound like in the studio.

angelina plays the guitar , piano , flute , violin and i read over a year ago she had almost mastered sax and a couple other stringed instruments. she was a published author at 9 and paints , draws and sews her own clothes. her grandmother is her inspiration , mentor and soul mate. maternal grandmother is also an accomplished painter , artist , author , and poet...angelina speaks norwegian (mother ) , swedish ( father) , persian/farsi (grandmother ) , japanese (grandfather) and english .

I think Angelina is a singer medium. The range of variaty that she has... no other artist I have heard does this incredible "rebirth" of the songs.

Miss Megan...adore your reactions to the Angel...you probably already know this but Angelina has a 1000 different voices...adapts to whatever she wants to do...now that is TALENT. you are right that she can blow most singers these days out of the water even at this age...thing is, her pure unmatched talent, humble caring person she is without the need for get ups, gimmicks, auto-tune, and all that nonsense, does not attract the shallow listeners to her talent who do not appreciate pure vocals without the eye candy crap.
