I know Angelina had some vocal training from her grandmother among others. This is just a small part of Angelina's voice. The rest is all her. She knows how she wants the song to sound, not how someone else did it. She does it her way, which makes her head and shoulders above any other modern singer. Loved the reaction.

angelina is a phenomenon like i've never experienced before. with every song she creates and sings you think you can't top it. and with the next song she does it anyway. she's 16 !! I think we can all brace ourselves for a lot of future. what's coming up is and will be fantastic.

yes.angelina is just a phenomenon.every time you hear a new song from her you think...this was the best song she has ever sung and arranged.i don't know how many songs she has sung so far.. but she has just as many best songs ;-))).even if you hear her older songs,then you think...that was her best.that's probably because all her songs are the best.

when i see her perform here i am awestruck and that is when i already know that she is going to own this song ,wow. i think back to what one of the judges on norways got talent said that to imagine what she is going to sound like in 10 years when she is 18 is unimagineable, well we dont have to wait 2 more years she is already crazy good. enjoy this amazingly talented young lady and we should just be happy that we get to watch her as she starts her musical journey which is quite something as she has already accomplished more than a lot of artists do in their whole lifetimes .

A bug or a feature? That is what we ask in high tech on something that is not intuitive. My bet would be that the slightly extended silence between the instrumental intro and Angelina's singing was a deliberate choice. The instrumental intro is a bit grandiose and a bit over-the-top. It worked well for Whitney's powerful pyrotechnics. However, Angelina starts with a more sensitive vulnerable tone, saving the powerhouse phrases to later in the song. The extended breaks allows breathing room for Angelina's warm timre at the beginning

I also picked up that stray sound in the silence after the instrumental introduction. I had already found the backing track that I’m almost certain that was used for this. However, the pitch was lowered 3 semitones and what I think we hear there is a remnant of the original left hanging on the editor timeline. i don't think it was a stray sound. stray means it doesn't really belong there. but i think that angelina and republic records wouldn't allow any stray sounds. i think it's a deliberate effect. it adds to the whole thing a great room sound.

This song does not "require" a high note. Angelina sings the way she wants in a lower key. You continually prove you know nothing about music and vocals. For some reason you ignore her vocal control and amazing ability to reimagine songs. All you do is complain and expect exact copies. Why not just listen to the originals that you love so much? Your mind is closed. The only reason I bother to reply is in rare case someone happens to read your crap. And I guess you forget she is only 16. I know, she is so good you must think she is in her 30's. She will enter the music world when she is ready.
