Every Angelina angel wants and believes Angelina's music should be promoted. We know her family has requested Angelina be allowed as normal a childhood as possible and should finish her schooling. I think that is very wise. I like to believe her family is working with Republic Records on a promotion strategy, to fully promote her while at the same time not to overwhelm Angelina. We don't want, what has happened to so many, her to shoot up in popularity only to have her star burn out. Angelina is a rare talent. I like to believe she is a once in forever musical artist and I put my faith in her loving family to know when the time is right to allow Republic to fully promote her. Our patience will be greatly rewarded.
Absolutely what I expected. She made this her own song and she did it beautifully. I noticed Juliet sitting there she is going to be as beautiful as Angelina one day. Elvis' version is great and it always was, and it still is one of my favorites. but Angelina's version is equally great and is definitely her own. When I first heard this song I loved it and put it at #3 on my playlist (Angelina Jordan Playlist by Terry M.), about midday I moved it up to #1. The main thing that changed my mind was the power in her voice. I'm not talking about loudness I'm talking about the power she has regardless of how loud or soft she sings. This is a quality that I haven't heard from anyone in my 82 years. This voice has become so unique that it is totally unmatched. The pianist is Rob Christie (3 Grammes), he is the head of the Republic Record department that is responsible for Angelina and other singers. The two small kids are her uncle Mike's kids, and the older girl is Angelina's sister. 🙂
It is wonderful how she comes in strong and clear. The piano sounds wonderful as well and Rob Christie is really slaying it! The arrangement is great and I love how she uses the bridge as an intro and outro. Because of the slower tempo, how she sings and the whole arrangement it gives me a sadder feel to it. Elvis’ upbeat version gives me a sense of hope that things might still turn around with a happy end. With Angelina I feel she is resigned that things must change and whatever must be will be. Towards the end I feel a desperate plea of sorts. The visuals are great as well. At first she is uncovering beautiful old pieces. Her cousins and her sister give a sense of time passing by and Angelina growing up. A lot of the rest is Elvis era visuals: the costumes, the guitar and of course the Priscilla beehive hairdo.
Although the song’s tone is somber, as taken from a perspective of regretful experience rather than anxious presumption, the closing words, “Let’s don’t let a good thing die,” sounds hopeful to me.
I do not think it is just a regretful experience. The inescapable trap, suspicion being fundamental to their relation (and a fundamental problem) describe a toxic relationship that has no future. The words in that sentence can be taken in many ways as a command, as hope, as a please. Taken in the context of the bridge it is a plea: ‘Oh, let our love survive I’ll dry the tears from your eyes Let don’t let a good thing die When honey, you know I’ve never lied to you’ Her tone and timbre are melancholic to me gives me the feelings I described: not one of hope but being resigned and finally despair. But that is just how her story telling connects to me :-)
AJ plays guitar, keyboard/piano, violin and flute. Don’t forget she write music, and was the youngest author in Norway to publish a book. At 7 she was killing us, at 16 she is taking us places we have never been. What a glorious production, praise to everyone involved, so perfect for Angelina Jordan she rules the universe with her talent. Again, the great talent of Rob Christie playing the piano. The Cinemaphotography, a total MASTERPIECE, Excellent ART Cole McCarthy! Great touch, the cousins and sister get a cameo. Mery, you should be so proud, AJ's grandma produced this. (This red guitar is identical to the one Elvis played in his 1968 concert on TV.) Oh, the tears, and loss of breath, she is like no other in the universe. Here is a classic example of what this ethereal talent, Angelina Jordan, can achieve she takes a mundane song and turns it in to phenomenal classic. Angelina at 16 is the MASTER of her universe, she is top priority for both Stargate, and Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California. Rob has been playing the piano on most of AJ's studio production performances. AJ's voice has been unique since she was 7 years old and now at 16, she controls us as an audience, leaving us hang on every word and phrase. She has written a number of songs.

This arrangement was all Angelina, I have no doubt. She is a Master Storyteller. The video is shot in the same Antique Store that she did 'My Funny Valentine' on Valentines Day. I believe it is in LA near her home. I believe the girls in the video represent Angelina's Journey from infancy to present through the classics of music history. Thus the Antique store, She grew up studying and performing these classics. Did you notice that right foot raise it''s heal to cradle the guitar a couple of times in the performance. I was waiting for her to throw in a little shake to it in homage to the King. Could that have been intentional? That is Rob Christie on piano. Sister Juliette and a couple of Uncle Michael's Babies. We want to make you aware that music reaction channels are now being challenged by some young artists' management teams due to inadequate reactor support. If you have already addressed this issue, thank you, but please read further as copyrights may be related as well. Some record labels have recently indicated that views and subscriptions to artists' videos and channels have declined, while those of the reactors have increased. Labels are not pleased that a majority of likes, views, and subscriptions are going to reactor channels, as that negatively affects artists' algorithms. Some are discouraging viewers from visiting channels that are primarily self-promoting, and who are not providing equal priority and benefit for the artists. You can use your platform to address the concerns of artist and reactor equality. Firstly, you should be a fan educator and not a salesperson. Realize that most viewers do not even know how to support you! What you say and how you say it is critical. Suggesting that viewers give the artists some love is only the first step in supporting your artists' careers. Briefly explain the algorithm and the needed steps so fans will know why and how to support you and their favorite artist. Guide your viewers to provide both of your channels the same committed algorithm support. Encourage viewers to watch both original videos in their entirety, to like and leave comments, and to subscribe to both channels. Both parties benefit. These simple but important recommendations will hopefully influence management teams to continue endorsing channels like yours, and also might eventually influence relaxation of copyright restrictions. Also, many young artists deserve your support for admirable humanitarian efforts.

What a rendition! Her Grandma Mery produced this. Looks like she used the same store she used for her My Funny Valentine video! Her sister Juliette was the older girl. The 2 younger girls are her Uncle Mike's kids, and, 2 time Grammy winner Rob Christie on piano. What a great cover! The beehive hairstyle was to honor Priscilla Presley and the time period she met Elvis. She had the red guitar and the black outfit! I was not expecting this! This was almost 4 minutes, but it flew by and felt short! Going to listen to it again! 16 years old….Wow!!! What a performance!
Her Beehive hairdo was an homage to Priscilla. Many photographs of her hair just like that. A Leather outfit he later wore. The guitar is actually Elvis‘s 1968 “Comeback” Guitar! Me thinks that this may be the beginning of a new era in mainstream music. Republic Records has the connections into all the media outlets (ie Synch for TV, film, commercials. traditional record and radio play, all the social medias, etc.) and I suspect that they will spare no expense to promote their #1 artist. I don't think the other record labels could understand Angelina's unique requirements and now they are on the sidelines with their artists who want to blow up the world.
