This performance for a children's charity that she pushed through her not being well, is so touching. That crack, high note squeal turned out to sound like a cry in an emotional assurance she would be there for these children. It was such a tear jerking, heart rending moment. She gave it everything she had to be there for the children. Great reaction.

She is a great singer and her voice is better and better as she is getting older, she is just seventeen years old, but she is considering the best singer in the world, just sit and wait sir .

Technically not one of her best performances, with a severe cold and advised by the doctor not to sing, she did, and it's one of her most chilling performances. When she screams with her voice almost broken, the hair on my arms looks like cactus spines.

In spite of her illness she lived the lyrics and pushed the audience to contribute even more i bet. You’re right about the details. Her voice was scruffy so lets give them a growl and punch up the message of the song and the evening

And to think that she performed this song when she was sick with close to 40 degrees, they told her that she could not perform, but because it was a charity event, she said that she would perform anyway ! ! ! 🦶🦶👑🗣🎙🎷

yes, as we heard, she had a cold, you can see it on her shiny forehead. but since it was about children, she would never have canceled, she once said in an interview "children are important to her" but the roughness in her voice made the whole thing even more emotional a really great performance

Of all the hundreds of covers Angelina has performed, this performance is still my favorite of all time. An eight-year-old child, sick from the flu, gives one of the most emotional performances of this song I have ever heard. It cemented my belief that Angelina is special and will go on to be one of the greatest singers of all time. Somewhere in the world, there are thousands of grown men crying in their soup over this song. Cheers!

Awesome... A lot of reactors don't do this one.. Which is a huge mistake... This is pure heart on display. FYI she had a really bad cold from performing outside in December barefoot for the Nobel peace award ceremonies a week or 2 prior (If I recall correctly). Doctor suggested she shouldn't sing, but it was a Charity Event and Angelina is without a doubt going to be there. And this song leave's no doubt in my mind that she will each and every time. ;) You can see her struggling a little bit with what she wanted and with what was actually coming out of her. Her eye's tell the story somewhat with the occasional look and near eye roll. But all that struggling, just elevates the emotion of the song and endearment and love she exudes to her audience. Amazing.

As you shall see in the comments, Angelina was sick but refused to not perform for this Charity event in Sweden, just who she is, a sweet and caring human being. To me, the "sick" voice here adds so so much beauty to her performance of this cover, one of mine and I am sure many Angels favorites. Hello again, Mr. J ! This performance is a beautiful testament to her skills and utter dedication and commitment already at the age of 8. She had a BAD case of cold here, after singing barefoot outdoors on a Nobel Prize concert here in Norway during winter 🙂 The doctor advised her not to sing, but Angelina really wanted to sing on this charity event. This was an event to increase awareness about bullying. She has been sick before on events like this, but she has never backed out. A true trooper and young professional from the very beginning 🙂 Much love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥

Not a perfect performance, but by far one of my favorites. She poured her heart out. This song is a perfect fit for this performance.

I don't think her voice would have cracked if she hadn't gone for that raspiness. The fact is, she was sick when she performed this, but went for the raspy note anyway because it needed that. She was advised not to sing but being the true professional that she is she refused to cancel. There were some Norwegian celebs in the audience including, I believe the Prime Minister of Norway.

This was for a charity for children victims of bullying, shown on the screed behind Angelina; she had a bad cold but of course wouldn't back out of an event for a children's charity of this kind... she was there, of course she was... in the event the effect of the cold on her voice, with that crack you mention, just added to the emotional impact of her singing

I loved your "big brain stuff" comment. I'd call it musical genius. She had a cold and went on with the show not knowing what notes were there, but being a jazzer she improvised her way: half step down on the high run, rasped the wail with the cracky voice. The only time I've seen someone use a sore throat and a stuffy sinus as an expressive device. She has done this more than once. At the recent 20th Asian American Gala she had a cold and sang her famous version of Bohemian Rhapsody. Where she usually does a trademark belt, she couldn't hit it. Instead she went even higher doing a two bar falsetto riff that blew me away. What a trooper. God only knows what she would come up with if she had laryngitis, but I'd want to be there to hear it 😊

Thank you for the great reaction to this one. As others have mentioned Angie had a very bad cold but this being a very worthy charity event it's hard to imagine anyone keeping her off the stage. You could see the audience really appreciated Angelina's beautiful voice filled with so much emotion. She has such a big heart ❤❤

It is a concert In December 2014, Angelina realized a life-long desire to sing at the Save the Children's Peace Prize Celebration which is part of the Noble Peace Prize celebration. Norway is a country that awards the Nobel Peace Prize. During this concert, Angelina had a cold because she had been performing outdoors the day before, and December in Norway can be cold. King of Norway Harald V was present at the concert, what you can see in the video.

Mr. J, this was somethin' else, wasn't it? Wow! I've never heard anything like your explanation of what happened 'at that moment'. But, I'm assuming you didn't know she had a cold when she was performing the song. So, I can believe what you're suggesting is actually what happened. She 'never' cracks and probably when she was warming up she realized she might have difficulty with that part of the song and, if she did, she would continue on with the song (like a pro) and sing it for everyone so they can feel the love in the message of the song. Which they did.

She had she went there she was very sick. The doctor didn’t want to go. She got a bad cold. I told her to stay home and she wouldn’t do it. She went over to Sweden to do this charity event. Her voice is not up to par, But she’s doing a great job being sick.

Doesn’t compete in Contacts Nomarski to turn professional she gets paid and she goes the same for the nurse case she doing a charity event. She does a lot of them she wants to get back. I’ll call the great humanitarian changes six she was doing this to people that she was singing with Sweeten and on our way to share the same border. They know her well.

Her parents and others really had second thoughts about her performing, but Angelina insisted since it was a benefit performance for children. Even sick with a little crack in the voice (which added even more to the flavor and charm!), she absolutely killed it! The part there where she belted out in almost a scream? Personally, I believe that was less of a "technical" choice by her, and that she was just simply "feeling" the song and its emotional message all the way through her soul -- and she had to release it!

Everybody knows Angelina Sweden, you in her country or but on the border they each visit each other back-and-forth. She’s in Norway and Sweden on the border and they know each Angelina as well known in Sweden it’s not a antes is She’s raising money for poor children.
