I see where Yozhik explained the context of this performance. Thanks for doing that. I wish you talked a little bit more about the emotions she displayed. In my opinion this is her most emotional performance. I swear if I had been there I would have given her a hug if they would have let me. I know she didn’t feel well but she put 100 percent of her heart into singing this beautiful tribute to Marwa. The note she cracks on makes me tear up every single time I hear it. Her performance the day before at Nobel concert was very touching as well. Waving to her fans as she sang what a beautiful world. You are correct sir. She is a gift to us.

It is a charity concert in sweeden red cross so it is needy people in other countries. She gave her winnings from norways got talent to a children's charity.

This is definately not the video to close your eyes to. A big part of why this is one of her most emotional performences is watching her passion here being sick, and watch the audiences how they are in awe.

This was a performance Angelina did at TV gala in Sweden called *_Swedish Heroes_* which is an annual event started by the Swedish evening newspaper _"Aftonbladet."_ Throughout the year, the newspaper (and other media) reports to us about what's usually described as _everyday heroes,_ people who put their own health, safety or finances at risk to help their fellow human beings, often complete strangers, and once per year, the general public are invited to nominate candidates in a number of categories to become the _Swedish Hero_ and then there's a jury who decides the winners. The girl behind Angelina was awarded the prize as _Youth Hero Of The Year_ in 2014. Her name is Marwa Karim, and she was awarded the prize for her work against bullying. Marwa had herself been a victim of bullying for over 10 years when she in her mid teens stood up to her bullies and started an online blog about her situation, something that initially made things even worse and led to death threats and thoughts of suicide. After some events I'd rather leave aside, Marva was invited to give a speech at her school about bullying, and she also traveled around Sweden and held lectures to peers and teachers at other schools on the subject, how to detect it, how to aid the victims, how to make it stop and most important - how to prevent it from happening in the first place. With this in your mind, I would think Angelina's strong emotional connection and the tear filled faces in the audience makes mor sense. It also gives a totally new meaning to the lyrics - and explains why Angelina chose to sing this particular song as part of the presentation and award ceremony for *_Marwa Karim - Swedish Youth Hero of 2014_*

Even with being sick and the breaks in her voice, the passion and conviction to do this and give it all she has is so amazing, for me, it just makes the song perfect. I saw someone recommend doing "I Who Have Nothing" she was 6 in a recording studio at her school and all that passion and determination is there in this song as well.

Hi Wolf! This performance was for a Swedish event highlighting children bullying. Angelina insisted on showing up even though she was sick. She had performed a week before at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in Oslo. She performed outside and it was very cold. The staff gave her a little carpet to stand on (barefoot) and even had a portable heater aimed at her to keep her warm. She had on that particular white dress you usually see her in and she caught a cold. She was absolutely marvelous and it was one of her goals to sing at the Ceremony. You replayed that part where she really got into it by almost screaming. The one note that was a little off was because she was sick. If you play the whole song again you can hear how nasal her voice was. But, it was for an important cause and she wanted to be there. Something else that was beautiful was her facial expressions. She was singing to a room full of donors and she was, in her way, showing the donors how she felt about the cause. By the way, one particular bullying case spurred the whole idea of doing something about the problem and in the audience was the victim and the bully. Great event and that's why Angelina wanted to be there.

I can't even imagine how good this would have been if she hadn't been sick. It's really a shame she didn't do it again after she got healthy! The audience is in total awe! Everyone there is going to tell everyone they meet "I was there" for this performance. Just like Bobby Thompson's home run or Gene Sarazen's double-eagle, the number of "actual" witnesses grows with time!

Her voice hits me every time (almost) There are some songs on her album (It´s magic) where she´s overdoing the vibrato (imo) but as here where you are getting the real stuff, unproduced and from the heart....wow.... a real tears-craver... and your reaction nailed it totally

I agree with everything you said. Angelina has a very unique voice and style. I have come across a few people that "just don't get it", but they seem to be pretty rare. And for those that do get it, it is an instant and deep connection. There is some quality in her voice that just reaches in and touches your soul. For me personally she is my single most favorite voice I have ever heard....ever. That seems like a big statement to make about someone so young, but I don't say it lightly. I have put in many hours of listening to her. And the more I listen, the more I think she is the best singer of my lifetime. BTW: Thanks for mentioning the facebook group! There's lots of great people in there, and we all enjoy sharing and discussing all things Angelina. The Kid has guts. I could hear that she wasn't at full strength I could tell from her low notes she really lacked the same depth. But that wasn't going to let anything get in her way. Funny how I have seen over a thousand reactions of her songs and there has never been a song where 90 percent of the people did not like her voice and renditions. For something to be "either you love it or you hate it" (polarized) you would have to have a distribution closer to 50/50 not 90-10 I have yet to find a reactor who has not had goosebumps when she sings, and while not all her songs are galactic in nature I would challenge anyone to find another singer or performer to have such an ecclectic variety of song covers and originals and have people of all ages, ethnicity and culture enjoy so many of her songs. Danilya, is great but no where as close as diverse in styles... Dimash has his own style, and he is more operatic / rock and is phenomenal, probably the closest in diversity as Angelina... but he is more polarizing because of his tendency to play with those very high itches, not always appropriate for the moment he uses it. There are other up and coming stars with gorgeous voices, but very much within their lane, Angelina is probably the most successful at rendering songs from different times and genres... There is a timeless magic in her voice, you cannot belt your way above it. Yes I am a Angelina fan, but I also know she is not perfect, and that is what is impressive, as great as she is, she continues to improve.

Hi Olly, another special reaction to Angelina. When first hearing this song I had a similar reaction as yours, just simply amazed. I later read comments that she was a bit under the weather, I really didn't hear that. I guess I was just focused on this little girl singing from her heart and after years of listening to her, I still just hear this special young girl singing from her heart. I hope and prey that time will not take that from her. Thank you for always being so kind, thoughtful, and respectful in all your reactions. Your kind spirit is evident in your words and your love for music and in the artist you continue to react to. I do really enjoy watching your content. She is a quality singer let alone her other talents, technics etc. I agree with your comment "good job she didn't win that particular show", it was amazing how her authentic qualities & abilities was not really appreciated at AGT committee of so called super fans!!!at such a young age..... This particular event was in Sweden around xmas time I guess since she performed some xmas songs as well. You can see many celebrities in the video as well. Apparently she was not well either. Tanx

She have so different style to sing, than any others, She's unique vocalist 🎶 But, few weeks ago I found another young female singer 12 years old Emily Linge and She is also very good singer and talented artist and part of Her familyroots are also from Norway! When She sing, She also accompanying herself with piano or guitar!! I recommended to look and listen Her performances 👌

This is as far as I know the very first rearrangement Angelina has done, it is the starting point of a journey that led to her AGT performance of "Bohemian Rhapsody" - an ingenious rearrangement of Queen's iconic original. Here she slowed down the tempo from 96 BPM in the original to about 60 BPM, and lowered the key from F major in the original to Eb major, which is the reason that it sounds so different - and much more beautiful - than Jackson 5's original bubblegum pop song.

Thanks for another fantastic reaction Wolf Rock, this is, in my opinion, one of Angelina's most exciting performances, for the age, the event, the commitment and her poor health (you can hear it from her particularly nasal voice). It was after the NGT, in winter and immediately before the Nobel Prize giving in Oslo where she had sung outdoors and barefoot and it was an evening where contemporary Swedish heroes were celebrated. ❤️ I cry every time I see her on that stage and listen to her again, for the passion she was able to give to her interpretation. Your comment about Angelina's voice being a voice you love or dislike is interesting but something I don't really see or agree with. Of coarse being at an age where you have a large collection of music might give me an edge. I find Angelina's voice very melodic and therefore very pleasant. If you want a voice you either love or hate try Ethel Merman and I have heard many discussions about how some people just can't stand to listen to her sing. Personally I like her voice but she has a very distinctive style. I don't think anyone would think Angelina comes close to that kind of comparison.
