Norway’s Got Talent Charity, she donated the 80 thousand dollars she won on Norway’s Got Talent Angelina Jordan won Norway’s Got Talent at the age of 8 in 2014, the prize for winning was eighty thousand dollars, this money was donated to children’s charities. At age 8 her first charity performance was in Germany to raise money for heart disease. Again, at age 8 she does a telethon for Plan International Children’s Charity. Still at age 8 she performs for Norwegian Sea Rescue Society Charity. On the 12th of Dec still at age 8, she performs at Save The Child Nobel Peace Prize, 4 days later, even though she has a very bad cold, she performs for the Swedish Heroes Foundation against her doctor's orders. At age 10 she performed for the Norwegian Refugee Council Charity. Also age 10 she performed in Seoul in South Korea for Rotary International to raise money for children’s vaccinations. Angelina Jordan comes from a very wealthy family and does need the money, she, and her family want to share her wonderful talent with the world. This is what makes AJ and her family so very special. Nice reaction! I find it kind of sweet that she's looking for approval from her Grandma Mery, the person who is taking the video. They have a real close relationship and it was Mery who introduced Angelina to jazz and Angelina just totally fell in love with the genre. If you didn't know, Billie Holiday is Angelina's biggest musical influence. She once said that if there were no Billie Holiday, there would be know Angelina Jordan! Wow, what a thing to say!

I've re-titled as: When a kid isn't a kid and fierce child warrior. For this kid is a warrior for music. The history with this song "I'm a fool to want you" goes back to the 50s. Co-Composed by Frank Sinatra and recorded in 1951. Billy Holiday made it famous. This was time Frank was in relationship with Ava Garner the actor. It didn't go well. Hi there Anthony 🙂 greetings from New Zealand! Are you enjoying Angelina's jazz? I think so! Did you notice how she touched her flower halo and glanced upwards just before she started to sing? I believe she was paying her respects to Billie Holliday then. There's one other time I have noticed this same gesture, it's when she entered the booth to sing 'I Put a Spell on You'.. she was paying her respects to Screaming Jay Hawkins then. Two influential African American singers from a way past era, who had an incredible effect on a very young Norwegian girl.. music is super cool like that! You remind me somewhat of Keanu Reeves..

This child is so amazing and so adorable on so many levels ! To be able to pull off the adults that she is covering is Insane ! Especially Billy Holiday ! I just can't get enough of her voice and her performances ! Just mesmerized !!

In front of Angelina is a glass window where she can see the Band playing. There is another tape of this recording in a-cappella and she removes her ear phones so we can hear the music playing in her ear. In this one, someone added the music, I personally like the a-cappella version better. Thank you for a great reaction.

While listening to this genre of music and especially with Angelina singing, I often get lost in her voice and the story of the song. I truly hope that happens for people who listen to the popular music of recent years.

She has the bluest soul music that we don't hear much of anymore. Billy Holiday is legendary for her blues singing. This is a genre of music I haven't heard since the forties. Truly exquisite breathiness and vocal manipulation. You have some of her "old soul" music, but it shows more in self-reflective rapping. Thanks for showcasing this song. ❤

Tiny Little Girl Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice was 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve. I have a number of pictures of celebrities whose height is known, for example, Austin Butler, who played Elvis, is 6ft tall, and AJ published a picture of her standing next to him, she was at least 1 inch taller than him, and she had to look down at him.

There is no way you can experience Angelina Jordan without becoming very emotional. This being moves mountains. Grandma Mery spent so much time with Angelina picking songs for her to perform from Mery's past, and it is very obvious, they have this very special rapport.

It is true that she was born with more talent than most musical groups have in aggregate (IMHO), but the amount of focused work that it took at achieve all this is mind-blowing.

Angelina Jordan knows full well how great she is, remember you are dealing with a genius that writes beautiful lyrics, is the youngest author that Norway has ever had, and she rearranges every cover she performs to make them her own, and much better than they were performed when they first became popular. Because of her family's wealth she could do nothing but enjoy her life, but she chose to spread joy throughout the world with her phenomenal talent.

The truth is you are in the direction of what happens when Angelina sings. She herself said in one of her interviews, which is also on RU-vid, that while she sings and her eyes roll back, she simply feels an out-of-body experience, she moves to a place that is all good and quiet, and that's what we feel when she sings exactly.
