Yeah, the lost masterpiece -- and I've yet to encounter the non-troll not blown away by this. It makes no sense at all for a 10yr old. It barely makes sense for a veteran adult singer. It remains for me the biggest "what if" of Angelina's obviously very young career, because from the moment I first heard it it just screamed "hit!" to me. That elusive soulful jazzy pop crossover with all time vox. Such a loss to have it forgotten about because of personality clashes. Republic has to be aware of it. P.S. This song was written by Baby FuzZ (real name is Brandon Lowry, stage name is Sterling Fox), Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen and Frida Amundsen. In 2016, they shopped it around to various artists, but couldn't find anyone to record it. They asked Angelina to record a demo and that is what you just heard. She was 10 years old. The demo was never officially released, but someone who had access to it leaked it to RU-vid (that's why you see "Leaked" at the beginning). There is a lot of speculation and controversy about the recording, partly because Angelina said she would never sing it again. Some say it is because her mother didn't approve of the ending lyrics because they infer suicide. That has never been confirmed. Some say that Baby FuzZ wouldn't give his permission for Angelina to release it, but that has never really been confirmed either. However, he has not blocked it from being played on RU-vid. Baby FuzZ recorded and released it in 2018, but it didn't have much success. As of 8/7/2021, his video had 20,630 views. Angelina's had 280,782 views. The ironic thing is that Angelina recorded Baby FuzZ's song before he did, meaning that he ended up covering his own song. It's a shame Angelina's recording was never officially released, because there is overwhelming sentiment that it could have been a #1 hit. Many people hope that she will reconsider singing it and include it on a future album. We can only hope!

Thanks to her grandmother, Mery Zamani, Angelina's ability at that young age was evident to her and she cultivated her granddaughter, bringing this immense talent out of her. There are a lot of good, even great singers out there but none of them sounded like this at (10) ten years old. If this song was released 5 years ago when it was recorded it would have been a bigger hit that anything Adel, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, you name an artist and this girl would have been bigger than any of them. Apparently she recorded 3 versions of this & this was the last & best one recorded just 1 week before her 11th birthday, so technically she was still 10 yo in this. It's amazing!!!

What troubles me is that it is the ONLY voice I want to hear. I do not tire of it and I just can't get enough of it!! This has been going on for years now. She is a part of me, her voice is always in my head. If she is not an angel then she is the closest thing to one. Have never come across anyone even close to this. Angelina recorded this demo a week before her 11th birthday. This awesome song was written by Brandon Lowry (aka Baby Fuzz) and it was never officially released therefore the "Leaked" in the title. Thankfully everyone involved with this vocal masterpiece is good with it being on RU-vid. Should have a been a #1 hit but the world was not ready for a 11 year old to have such a hit. Fits perfectly into the story line of the greatest, most accomplished child vocalist.

Many fans believe this is the most stunning, unique presentation she has ever done. Her mom didn't like a line that had to do with a drowning suicide and from what I've heard, the writers wouldn't adjust the lyrics so Sara refused to allow Angelina to record it. It would have been a #1 song for sure.

I believe the choice of all songs she performed were those that her grandma liked. Sara, was quiet as a church mouse, standing hidden backstage, whereas grandma was a truly boisterous cheer leader waving a large placard in the audience that said 'Angelina - Queen Of Jazz' , with a photo of Louis Armstrong displaying 'puffed cheeks', which he was known for 'back in the day' when he was in his prime. Grandma Mery ruled that day, promoting her granddaughter as forcefully as she could !

It's a Baby Fuzz song. He wanted Angie to record it. So she did but her family didn't think the reference to committing suicide by drowning (it's in the bridge)was appropriate for a 10 year old so they said no way. @@albertphilippi4371 This story is so complicated and been repeated so different by so many people, I think the only people who know it correct are Angie, her mama, grandma and maybe a man called Boris Palinovsky who spoke with Angie's mama December 18 during the Christmas concerts. I speak some Norwegian and am just repeating what I was told by someone in Norway. I think you are right Albert that Brandon didn't know about Angie's recording. I'm still holding out for you song written by Brandon Lowry( also goes by Baby Fuzz), Ronny Janssen, Askel Carlson, and Frida Amundsen they went to 10-year-old Angelina with it and Angelina made this audio cut (pictures were added later by a fan "great job" to the pirated audio cut) but Angelina's family didn't like the ending lyrics referencing suicide and asked for a lyric change from the authors and they refused and the song cut was stored. (The song was released by Baby Fuzz later)Then the audio cut was leaked, (pirated) from Angelina later on, also Angelina has stated she would never sing the song again. Brandon Lowry, it is sed, has no problem with the U-tube video being used. It's a terrible shame as it could have been a mega-hit My favorite AJ song is just a shame about the drama.

I LOOOOVE your reactions and yes, this is one of my alltime faves from Angelina. Just immacculate from start to finish. What always amazes me about her is that even when she was just a kid (I mean, she's only a ten now), she not only sang so beautifully but she alse PERFORMED each song like she felt them in her soul, even though she couldn't possibly have had time to live through many of the emotions she interprets. Not only is she one of the best vocalists ever, but her delivery and the way she emotes each story is second to none.

I remember seeing a video of her when she was seven or eight or younger. I forget what she was singing, but she immediately reminded me of Amy Winehouse. You should see some of her videos.

Since this demo was recorded prior to baby fuzz singing it it is considered an original. No one had recorded this and had it released/published prior. Authorized or not it becomes an original.
