It looks like she is directing the musicians too. She has total control of everyone, including us, when she sings. Such power. Part angel, part witch with this song. I'm 63 and don't have a lot of years left. Health issues wake you up to things like that ... then you stumble onto a few very special things ... Angelina is certainly one of them and at least for this old man it created a feeling of joy in who she is and regret that I will miss out on so much that she will do over the next 30-50 years. Your reaction is one of the most genuine because you like so many of use were simply left in wonder and unable to articulate what you witnessed. I will lurk around your chanel and catch more of your older stuff and certainly current as well.

You've listened to two songs by Angelina, and that's all it takes to get addicted to her voice. You'll be listening to the rest of her repertoire now, and you'll need to keep a box of tissues nearby. She has a unique gift of squeezing every bit of emotion out of a song. When she covers a song, you suddenly realize that while you've heard the song a hundred times you've never felt the meaning of the lyrics before. Three years after seeing this reaction, I still recall how this starts. You saying, "I did one reaction and fans said I hadn't seen the best performance yet..." and you were simply blown away by this. In conclusion, you never reference her excellent BACK TO BLACK either... this performance still stands are my milestone in her career. I'm off to find your MAN'S WORLD reaction with your giddy leg-kicks and that climactic shout-out. Gitana, your reaction was very honest. I had the same problem. I'm 74. I saw the original singer, Screamin' Jay Hawkins. She was very accurate for the most part. So a person who has seen this song originally years ago, you know what is going to happen and what it will sound like. And YET when you see AJ sing it, who can't help thinking "Is she having fun with it? Are the people around her letting her be a Child?". Now she is 15. Listen to "What a difference a day makes" first by Dinah Washington (The original) then Amy Whinehouse Then AJ. It Is Spooky. And I don't think that in the history of RU-vid, there has ever been an artist that has gotten So many people's attention. There have been literally 100's of reactions on her alone. As a sidebar, Screamin' Jay was on Arsenio Hall one night. It was hilarious. Yes he had a gimmick, but the man could sing.

When you think about 9 year olds you can never imagine, not in a million years that this is the voice of a child so young, I mean ONLY NINE!! and she actually reaches into your soul and pull all the emotions you didn't even know you had right up and bring'em to float with her beautiful voice, and that 's what makes her special, seriously, which other singer makes you feel like that with every song they sing, this only happens once or twice in a lifetime so we are witnessing history being written by Angelina and I love being part of it. You are reacting very well without words in this clip! When you go back and watch it again, notice how long this 9 year old can hold a loud note! Where does she get all that air in a 9 year old body? Here she is covering the man whose picture she is holding at the beginning of the video (can’t remember his name-must have been before my time). I would love to see his version to see how well she did. She apparently doesn’t back down to any challenge!

You probably never thought that a 9 year old would be able to move you like that. I didn't either... and then she did. When you watch that again (and I know you will many times) take note of how effortless this is for her. It just flows right out of her soul. It's like she's not even trying. This is one of the things that set Angelina apart from other singers, and makes the instant connection so strong. You never feel like she's trying to "sell" you the song. She somehow just knows what the song is supposed to feel like, and she makes you feel it. You have a long journey ahead in the discovery of this one. Her library of work is massive, her versatility is unmatched. Every time you think you have heard all she can do, the next song will show you something different.

Very well put. She's not even trying, is she? To Angelina it's just what she does. She likes singing and so she sings. I've often wondered if anyone has ever told her that what she's doing is impossible. Because it is. It's plainly ridiculous for that sound to come out of that little thing 😂 But what makes the big difference, what sets her apart isn't the talent, it's the ear. She's just got the perfect ear for music. He's runs and breaks and pitch changes are so deft and flawless that there can be only one conclusion. It's supernatural 😂, she just channels greatness like it's as easy as walking or breathing.

Yep. You recognize a REALLY powerful performance... that's a good thing. I have listened to Angelina so many times, I rarely get the goosebumps any more. That is sad. She deserves goosebumps with every note. Some of my favourite songs are "Born to die" and "A million years ago". Check them out :).

I retired 4 years ago, and I started to watch music videos as I have little time for TV. I came across this young Dutch singer called Amira who sang opera. I progressed onto Grace Vanderwaal, and then on to Courtney Hadwin. I kept on seeing the name Angelina Jordan popping up on the side videos. My first video of her's was this one. I was in a state of amazement and kept on playing it over and over. I then went to all her other videos. I then wanted to see what other people felt when they saw her, and started looking at reaction videos. It's as if it gives a sense as to how I felt, and brings back that first time feeling. Yours is one of the best reactions I have seen, and I have seen hundreds. I await your journey.

@@alberttenfoot Will have a look this weekend. Saw Aurora live as a warm-up act for Mumford and Son at Malahide Castle. She was excellent. She has the advantage over both Courtney and Angelina in that she is a songwriter. I think if the two girls could get an album out after the lockdown, they will go big. I would travel to see both of them. I know the girls have done some songs, but until they become prolific like Grace, they must remain off tour.

@@tedgermaine8738 Something is not right in the world when someone like Grace is getting so much attention, when Angelina is a songwriter also, plus author, music arranger. She is a darling of the younger set. Then there is Connie Talbot, and Jackie Evancho, and of course Amira. Amira appeared just as Angelina did, a child prodegy at age 9 and has gone on to be considered the best female opera singer at age 16. Connie, and Jackie have been around for some time, and although both are excellent singers, and have albums out, neither one have that something in their voice that makes grown want to cry such as Angelina has. If it was the voice you could say BRILLIANT, then you add the intonation and attitude we have GREATNESS, Angelina does the arranging and timming GENIUS. She has the ability to affect us emotionally Angelina has taken the art of singing to a new place others can only aspire too. Many performers follow in the foot steps of others, I don't think anybody can follow in her foot steps
