Two gentlemen in the know - making my evening. Mind you, this is the only time in her life she was allowed to truly growl - since anyone with any sense knows that growling like this would shred her young vocal cords too. So here we are - another decade and we may hear her demonstrate this god-given ability again in the body and soul of a fully grown woman - just like we heard it from a 9-year-old girl harbouring a musical soul with very deep roots. For now - congratulations to a young lady celebrating her 15th birthday today. May she roar forever.

Angelina is one of the most addictive singers I have ever listened to, & one of the very few, that can pull you right into the song, making you feel, every word, every note, & every emotion. ❤️💙 I always have this feeling that Angelina is not only channeling some of these late great singers, but that they also pass through her, when she is singing their song ❤️💙 A rare beauty, in every sense of the word ❤️💙 Whether you are a believer in reincarnation or not, I find it very intriguing that Lou Rawls, the American Jazz & blues singer legend, passed away the same day Angelina is born 😊 Loved your reaction!!!

At 18 months old, Angelina was in a crib, and her mother gave her a mic and tried to get her to sing, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", and instead she sang a verse from "I Will Always Love You". But here's the kicker--she didn't know English. That's how good her ear for music is. She just sang the notes.

Very few white singers were ever treated favorably by the toughest of all audiences, that being those in the audience of the famed Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY.. This girl would have commanded a standing ovation, I can assure you of that. Not just this one, but other soulful numbers she has performed like James Brown's 'Its a Man' World' and 'Id Rather go Blind' by Etta James.
