Tell your daughter that Angelina writes in her diary every day. She wrote about a girl she met in the mid-East when she was 6 years old and ended up giving the poor girl her own shoes. At nine years old, Angelina used her diary to write and publish a book about that encounter, making angelina the youngest published author in Norway. Angelina has written 5 songs and she has used her thoughts and memories from her diary to compose those songs.

Your daughter has a lot to think about, doesn't she? She should know Angelina has kept a diary since she was a little girl. Just imagine: When Angelina was singing in NGT she still had really wonky teeth! By the time her teeth had agreed to more or less line up (the stage your own daughter is) she was arranging and performing the Screaming Jay cover of "I put a spell on you". The song dedicated to her grandfather is revealing: He may be gone, but he is still with her - she will never be alone! My guess it was her Japanese maternal grandfather, but I could be wrong, she will have a Swedish grandfather as well. Just be glad you have a normal, charming little girl - having to raise a prodigy like Angelina cannot be easy.

I easily imagine Angelina's grief, but I'm caught up short when I acknowledge that Juliette also grieved his loss. This song was likely as meaningful and therapeutic for both sisters and more so as they were in it together. To date, there's only one other video, "Valerie", where Angelina (12) and 6 y/o Juliette appear together.
