Hi Venice (Venice?) 😉 Loved your honest reaction to the live version. I remember when you reacted to the lyric video and I think we cried together! I'm so happy that with this debut under the Republic Records/UMG label, Angelina has been able to stay true to herself in both videos: the lyric one including her grandma's drawings and in this one just singing her heart out, in black and white like in "I Put a Spell On You" (which I think was her first "official" video). Only her amazing voice and two instruments, so simple and yet so poignant. You can see the pain in her face. Thanks! Catch you in the next one
So great to see Angelina sing live again, especially with this healing song in troubled times. The artwork she and grandma did for the original release was awesome, but this magnificent video is epic! I think this will rival her other B&W from years past. I'm so happy for her successes all these years, and I think she has found a great home at Republic for her talent. Her uncle Michael deserves a lot of credit too. One day I'll get my greatest wish, to see her sing in person. Angie’s fans will treasure this performance forever. And to Angelina I say, thank you so, so much for all the wonderful music you have given all of us over the years, and for your humanity for others less fortunate. It’s not just your voice Angelina, you truly are a “gift from the universe.”

It seems, that even though we have followed 6 years of her life, and see her constantly getting so much better, she has in no way reached her peak yet. Again, she managed to create and sing a new very best. What an amazing artist she is.
In the course of the year, I feel blessed to have seen her grow into her wonderful gift of song. Very much like following Mozart from Five to Fifteen. A prodigy from five. She is genius.
Angelina in black, (traditional attire when one is mourning the loss of a loved one), a cello, a piano and the video produced in B&W. This is a simple and unassuming production yet the performance achieved it’s intended goal. In this case less was more. It allowed the viewers to focus completely on Angelina’s breath taking vocals and the heart wrenching lyrics. It was stunning and memorable performance.
Venice I am so proud to be one of your subscribers as I love your heartfelt reactions. Was awesome to see Angelina perform for the first time in nearly a year and she looks so much older. Angelina's musical talents along with her humility and empathy make her my all time favorite vocalist. Not much doubt in my mind, Angelina will become one of the all time great singer/songwriters.
Thanks Venice for the sweet reaction 🤗 ❤️ This is a great song and it's also well done, yet she managed to improve even more, just a few weeks after the original version was released, for which she definitely worked a little bit subtle differences compared to the version with the lyrics and now it's even more exciting, even seeing her sing is priceless! A year has passed since his last public performance, at AGTC. It's really a help to cheer up the human soul and gives us an emotion that will accompany us during the Christmas period. 🤗 ❤️
Very nice reaction. When it comes to conveying emotions, Angelina is on another level from every other artist I've seen, currently or dating back to the 60's.

Now with her being older, I won't refer to her as 'The Barefooted Princess', instead taking into account her 6 ft. height and mature look. She's 'The Persian Princess', thanks to the DNA she inherited from her 'jazzmania' grandma who was also a child prodigy (artist). Can see her going from the models runway to the concert stage and dazzling overthrow crowds.
