Her unequaled versatility is beyond mind boggling. She goes from genre to genre with ease, winding up owning the songs she covers from other artists and blowing the listener's minds with inventive, improvisational, original recordings as well. Her mastery of nuance, phrasing, radical 'key' changes within lyrical lines, including the going from talking to singing within specific lines and vocalizing in registers that go from the stratosphere where Whitney reigned, down to the lowest of low, continuous registers that reminds the listener of Elvis singing 'How Great Thou Art' which she did as well. All this, and at the foundational base of it all, she is the consummate jazz singer, having been mentored by the great Billie Holiday. Talk about being ' The whole package', this girl is exactly that.
What impresses me beyond Angelinas unique voice and skills, is that she has performed live concerts every year from the age of 8 until now when she turns 18 (january 10th) only stopped by covid. She loves to sing live. ❤
and she has sounded amazing live in every setting and age! Her consistency as a singer and person is remarkable through times when most fold to the pressures of the stage and growing up. As much credit as her family gets, it is not enough!
I love her. I've been watching her since she shared her voice with the world. We never know which direction she is taking with each song she sings. None of them are disappointments. Unchained Melody was so exceptional. She truly looked like an angel -- her make up was perfect, her earrings and her headpiece spotlighted her and the clear nail polish brought her into a calming angelic performance. An absolutely beautiful, young woman in all ways.🌹💖🌹

She certainly deserves it ♥ And this may be the year when the whole world gets to know her☺ She has been the best kept "secret" for these past 11 years as her family was intent on allowing her to live a normal life as possible, enjoy her childhood and study. But now she'll be 18 years old on January 10th, I suspect her record lable will launch a full promotion of her music, particularly as she now has a new EP with original songs and is planning to release a full album. So pleased to see this small slice of the Angelina Jordan story as presented by pureemotion. I have followed her career closely since she was on Norway Got Talent ten years ago when she was eight. She will be eighteen in four days from this post on Jan 6, 2024...and ready to move onward after this recent dream realized to perform at the Nobel Peace Prize. My own expectation is that as a performer that always imbues songs with the emotion that the lyrics suggest, she will be one of the greats of this century. Hmm, it's only been 10 years? I totally lost track of time I think. I agree, and sit patiently awaiting her big breakout. I can't see Angelina taking the same road as many other greats have, but I do see her doing it her own way.

I have not tried to follow her as closely as I could. I appear to think you are correct on the breakout. It looks like, and I'm hoping no one will be able to control her and that she will do what she wants to do. Ok then, Angelina shows up in your feed. I've been in love with her singing style for so long, I was introduced to her music from an online friend in Finland shortly after she won the voice--probably from her age of 10. I'm glad you tell the all important story about the shoes, but almost everyone knows her full current life as she has pulled back or slowed down on her up front performances, presumeably for educational goals, and propably more my opinion to insure fame does not spoil her or to keep contol? from the massive multi-media giants. I wish to know more about her now, but I am just waiting, probably until she graduates from UCLA? She does not appear to have been spoiled yet by stardom. For now the story continues mostly in silence. When she re-emerges, if she re-emerges, we shall see. Will she always have that star quality? For certain she will never lose my heart.

Angelina is like no one I've ever seen/heard before. I stumbled on her 6 years ago & have listened to her every day since then. She's amazing!!! I will be very surprised if this video isn't taken down, since the performances are without any added content. Good luck with that.
