She is so sweet, when she stops quickly to ask if the interviewer wants to hear the story it is truly endearing. What a kind and good soul

For all those that mentions that she is humble. This is kind of a part of Norwegian culture. We have kind of a unwritten law we call "janteloven". A big part of it says "You should not think you are better than others". In general, even if you meet famous people / actors in Norway they will generally be civil and consider you a human being of equal value.

Angelina is a gift to all mankind. She is one of the greatest vocalists of all time; and she is one remarkable young woman. Her performance of the song, “I Put a Spell On You,” when she was nine is what made me a fan of hers forever. It is an incredible performance… seriously, I’ve never heard anybody that sings like her.

I'm a former English teacher, but I cannot possibly think of enough "adjectives" to describe this extraordinary young lady in every way possible. But I do have to say that if there is anything that matches her beautiful voice, it's the beautiful humility, charm, sweetness, and kindness of her soul and spirit! May she never lose that! As a former teacher and as a Dad of four, I love young people. However, Angelina (at 14 and obviously at 6, when she met that little girl) has an extraordinary level of empathy, depth of feeling for others, and compassion which I don't see in many of our youth of today. Her parents named her well, for she is truly an "ANGELina"!

If Angelina wanted to rule the world that would be fine by me.

I love this girl.... she's a product of great parenting.... what a wonderful role model she is for today's youth...

Okay! This made me cry! She is precious and unbelievable beyond words! What an amazing young lady and an amazing upbringing she has had by her family. When she said, "Do you want to hear it?" I'd be like, "Are you kidding me? I want to hear everything about you!" Just extraordinary humility, grace, polite etiquette, poise, maturity, and charm for a 13-year old girl. Just hearing her comments in this interview has been so inspirational to me and has made the rest of my day! Thank you, Angelina, you sweet Godsend! And thank you, too, Rusty Shackleford, for posting these fantastic videos!

When you see her on stage, her demeanor is so different that you forget she is still a child. Watching this interview reminded me that she is still very young, but her music is so mature.

"I had to talk to her" Most 6 years old would not be compelled to have to talk to her. Such a compassionate and beautiful soul. Why didn't they show this before she performed? They hardly gave her any time at all.

I have fallen in love with this sweet soul. The way she interprets music is unlike anything I have seen before. The more I learn about her, the more I think I understand how this is possible. She is probably HSP (hyper sensitive personality) who is empathic and also has a natural linguistic talent. She can feel the emotions in song lyrics as they were written by the songwriter and she can emote and project that through her own voice. Singing is like a 3rd language for her (Norwegian, English and music). That is what I believe, and why I have been binge watching all her RU-vid videos for the past 3 days since her AGT performance popped up in my recommended list. Now I have downloaded my favourite songs of hers from Apple Music, have watched not only performances from when she was 5 years old onward but also any reaction videos and interview videos I saw. She is a legend in the making, and the world will soon know her name and her sound, but her family and humble upbringing will hopefully keep her grounded.

I don’t know what it is about her voice. Just about any song she sings makes me cry a good cry. Not many things in life does me . My heart is somehow in line with tone of her voice. The sound of her voice is so soothing and hypnotic that my mind goes to places in my past. Some memories are sorrowful and painful and just by listening to her angelic voice some how makes everything better and replaces them with joy and happiness. Voices like this only come once in a life time. God Bless You Angelina Jordan! Thank you for precious gift you have given the world with your songs.

What a humble and intelligent young lady! English is NOT her primary language and she nails her interview - and has the humility to ask the interviewer if he wants to hear the "whole story about why she performs barefoot". Yes we do A.J. - I REALLY hope she wins it all. I hope the young girl she met gets to become a doctor too!

I'm 45yo yet this angel of 14yo has taught me so much not only about myself but also about love and life... which I very much thank her for. Whatever path she chooses from here she has my full support... in saying that she owes me or anyone nothing as what she has already given is a godsend... I'm not even sure she is aware of the affect she has on us... all I know is since discovering her a couple of years ago my life has been better... (strange to say that about someone I have never met and don't know) but its true... best wishes and god bless you beautiful Angelina.

We hear so much today about the "me" generation; young people who seem to feel a sense of "entitlement". And I don't blame these young people, because they, as we, are the products of our social institutions. And then we see and hear this young singing prodigy, and she displays all the opposite characteristics; humility, kindness, generosity, and grace. I want to see Angelina become a superstar. Not just as a reward for her talent and hard work, but so that bright light will shine on this remarkable young person as a role model for all youth around the world. Angelina has an enchanting quality about her whether she's singing or talking. She thinks about concerns such as personal loyalty and deep feelings for people such as the girl she gave her shoes to and her grandfather. She talks softly, but when she sings - in songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, Oslo and Shield - she expresses herself in a way that shows she has a tremendously powerful, dynamic personality. I've never seen anyone like her. She's a superstar as a singer and as a person.

I wish Angela were my personal friend. She's such a beautiful person.

Everyone's comments are true but the one thing I get out of this is that although she sings and acts with maturity beyond her years, in fact, she is a child. She makes us forget this when she sings but I'm reminded of her youth in this interview.

there are cynics who would say she doesn't really have a heart of gold as she projects ... she's just saying that to gain popularity.... but i know in my heart that ain't true ... it clearly feels like what she says and what she is inside is the same person. talent-wise she was the best on the show personality wise there isn't even a comparison

Thank you for putting this up, Rusty. It is the most I have ever heard Angelina say and I fully agree with the opinion of others that she is humble and "ordinary" in the nicest way possible. Her sincerity is so open. Perhaps in a few years we won't need to use the words "humble" 'modest", sincere, "unique" or their synonyms.The one word "angelina" will cover them all.

This young girl is a precious gift to the world. She's the closest thing to an actual angel I've seen, and I've met many wonderful people in my 70+ years! May she bless us with her amazing talent for many years to come. ❤

Here is a comparison you'll probably not hear anywhere else: She reminds me a bit about Leonard Susskind, the physicist :-). He also seems so completely relaxed and laid back, even a bit slow when you listen to him. Same thing with her. Yet the actual amount of sensible and beautiful things coming out of their mouths per second is very high indeed.
