A review of Angelina Jordan's performance of the Queen song "Bohemian Rhapsody" on America's Got Talent in 2020. I also briefly discuss other versions by her of the same song. For educational purposes only. I do not own the videos that I am reacting to.

Really loved he final shots of the family and Heidi Klum. Such emotion. And it was lovely to see how affectionate Angelina was during the hug from Heidi. AJ is truly a special soul.

Chris, what a wonderful presentation by you and thank you very much. Your video was put together with so much thought there is no way anyone would not realize the effort you put into it. You could have gone on for an hour but you did it splendidly in the time you had. And, what can we say about Angelina and her preparation and then her performance on AGT? Chris, when she performed it was as if you were witnessing a Concert performance and not a spot on a Talent Show. Her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody will never be forgotten and will be played over and over again by the masses for years and years to come.

Chris, it may not be the real thing you need, but as a fun of Angelina allow me my humble opinion. Her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody is so unique from great, calm acapella beginning, with her absolute hearing, to the end. It´s the best length of the song. The transition to the chorus is genuine and impressive. Beautiful voice dynamics, riffings, excellent voice clarity and confidence. Angelina´s voice is uniquely and very satisfying.

I love this music talk videos!, maybe even more so than the reaction videos. Well, another aspect why she chose this song could be obviously because Simon Cowell is British and as we know she wanted to impress especially him, so to me it comes with no big surprise that she chose a song of the most famous british rock band. Of course she had to make a short version out of this song for AGT, but I wished she did a full version too. _"less is more"_ I think that's often the case with Angelina. She proves again and again that also quieter and softer performances can be just as touching and impressive as the louder and more powerful ones. I also loved that remark of Tony that she _"lets the music flow to her"_ . With other artists I always get the impression that they use music in order to "create" art (true to their name), but with Angelina I get the opposite impression, namely that she uses art to create music/emotions. The other thing that striked me with this performance is that she stayed very calm the entire time. I think you need nerves of steel to stand on that huge stage and keep your cool. Of course that goes for other participants as well, but still, I'm impressed and I think staying calm is one of Angelina's biggest fortes. Btw I loved that slow motion sequence you showed at the end of your video, Chris, one could see the emotional reactions of Angelina and her family very well.

not only did you take us to Hawaii for an extremely beautiful walk on the beach again, but this was such an interesting background story to the creation, or rather, the re- creation of a truly iconic song. Thank you for all this information, Chris .. it truly helps us feel her process.

Great Review! The part where she sings "Shivers down my Spin". I thought it was a nice artistic choice for her to use her vibrato on the words "shivers" and "spin", as if to mimic, or to simulate, Shivers going down one's Spin. I don't know if that's what she intended as an effect, but it just seems like it to me, after having listened to that part a number of times. If you listen to that part, you'll notice that there's no vibrato on the other words aroung "Shivers" and "Spin". Once again, BIG FAN, that was a really good review. I enjoyed it, and the walk along the beach, a lot.

Thanks, Chris, for a great reaction/review! Angelina's choices?. Unless Angie tells us, we will never know for sure. But, isn't that what art does? For 7th Heaven, many folks want to get all metaphysical about it. Angelina said she liked 7 and heaven is, well, heaven. Could it still be metaphysical? Sure. Whether she was consciously relating choices in BR to Freddie's issues or not is not too important. We still get to use it in this way. I have no doubt her unconscious connections are closer to those of an empath and may lead to many profound presentations/choices which may not be obvious even to her. Many fans have a different favorite, but this performance, the first I ever saw, is my number 1 Angelina performance. It was magical. The a capella start-- mesmerizing. The next two words.."Too late" ,, are sung as near perfect as I can imagine. I still respond viscerally, after hundreds and hundreds of listens, to those two words. I feel like I could be like Bryden and talk about the value of each word. Words,ultimately, are inadequate to describe this master class ⅓ song mini-concert. I agree with one reactor's assessment..."She breathes music." Or as many reactors have so eloquently put it, "WOW! WOW! WOW!!!" January 6, 2020 will forever be a day of note in my life.

a lot of people reacting exclaim about her a capella start being pitch perfect... A few VOCAL Experts did notice she did have IN EARs... so a tone may have been sent to her to start correctly... We just do not know.

Actually, I did surf in San Diego once.. got up on a long board the thrid run, and the two brothers of my female friend were shocked that I did. I was not surprised though, but I actually preferred body surfing and never though I would get anywhere with surfing . Not well, at least. No interest.

Great job, Chris. I agree; the arrangement was pure genius and the execution was exquisite. It might be generous to call that one clip a rehearsal. That was in a hotel room in Stockholm for the Brilliant Minds concert. Egil said he didn't remember whether that started with him playing a riff from the song, or Angelina having recently discovered the song and asking if he knew it. Either way, that was probably the first time she sang it. I think this is the first time I have seen the extended family reaction at the end. It was really touching to see Juliette's reaction. Off topic question: what's up with the Angelina Patreon? Do you (or anyone else) know for a fact that it's actually Angelina's? I've never seen a link to it in any of her RU-vid, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram accounts or her web site.

In one of the videos they also show 2 elderly people watching the show on their own. I guess it could be her other grandfather and grandmother? Maybe some one knows who they were.
