In case you didn’t notice, Rob, Angelina was sick during this performance. She had a head cold and because this was a big benefit concert, Angelina chose to tough it out and perform anyways.

Angelina's song interpretation is unmatched amongst her contemporaries... When she do a song there's no way you cannot feel the song unless your a heart of stone. I can listen to her all day long and I will still want for more.

Regarding her bare feet, this last summer she performed an outdoor concert north of the Arctic circle in Norway.......in bare feet! She takes her commitment to heart

This video is a recording from the Swedish TV show *_Swedish Heroes_* "Swedish Heroes" is an initiative started by the Swedish evening newspaper _Aftonbladet_ in 2007. Every year, the magazine writes about hundreds of _everyday heroes_ who have shown courage, civil courage and humanity. Of these, a jury selects seven heroes in different categories who are praised at the *_Swedish Heroes Gala_* which is held in December every year. The photos projected behind the stage are pictures of some of these _heroes_ and the people they have helped. The context of this gala also affected Angelina's selection of song and explains her emotional commitment in this performance. Regarding the wreath of flowers in her hair, nothing symbolic about that, except that Angelina likes flowers very much and it's a scandinavian tradition to wear them at festive occasions. Mostly at outdoor parties during the summer (often made with wild flowers, originally given as token of affection from young men to their loved one much like the wrist corsage in some countries), but it can be used all year arond and some times it's used instead of diadem with wedding dresses (again, especially at out door weddings in the summer). To cut it short - it's just a hair decoration :)

She had a really bad cold here but refused to cancel because it was a charity event. Pictures pertained to the charity. Flowers in the hair is a Norwegian thing, as is the curtesy at the end of her performance.

Glad to hear the new job is going well. There's no better way to relax after a long day than listening to some Angelina. Her voice is very calming. I was happy to see you doing another Angelina so soon. You asked about the flower crown, I don't know the cultural meaning of it, but I believe it is a common festive adornment in Scandinavian countries. It seems to be a hidden gem. It's one of the longer ones at 5 minutes, but it is amazing. This is one that I will sometimes listen to several times in a row. You have mentioned how she likes to pick difficult songs.... I have heard that this song is so difficult that most singers will not even attempt it. She sings it like it's nothing. BTW... 8:23 haha I warned you about that loud intro, and it came back and got you anyway lol

My favorite Angelina live performance to date. The rasp in her voice made this song hers. Sorry Michael. America's Got Talent is a dog and pony show. An example is Lucy Kay, a world class opera singer lost to a dog act. If Angelina does go on the show, you can bet I'll be watching no matter what. Can't wait!
