They can't promote her until she Graduates High School in 2 weeks, then they are dropping an EP from her Album due out this Fall. AJ's accent is from the deep South, listening to all the jazz singers from previous generations. She uses the vocal inflections from Billie, Nina, Ella, ... when she sings songs without a jazz influence that all goes away ... just a vocal chameleon
Why are we not hearing her more on the radio and why has Spotify put her in the retro pop niche. This is something most people would like. Bit dumbfounded. This is pop. The retro bit is just flavour like Amy Whinehouse or Duffy. Angelina adds a bit of jazz and soul too.
