This would have been amazing if she was healthy when she sang this one. But her performance of this song for a charity event, despite being sick, was an unmatched work of art. Too many children around the world grow up amidst adversity, and this song harmonized with their plight. What a beautiful soul in a beautiful child.

This performance is especially wonderful and heart warming knowing that Angelina was not feeling well, yet she insisted on fulfilling her obligation to perform because it benefitted other children.

This song gets me every time, there is just something about it. The fact that she had a terrible cold, somehow makes it even more emotional.

This comment is posted on the "I'll Be There" video but is worth reposting. Shane Constantine 2 years ago That event took place, December 12th, 2014 at the Hjältar-galla. She was sick. A bad cold. I heard that a doctor advised her not to sing, but she had promised to be there. So she sang. With great difficulty with certain notes which are usually easy for her. But she put all her heart into that song. Two days earlier, December 10th, 2014, she sang outside barefoot(with a little heater at her feet) by 40°F in honour of the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize laureates. I admire her.

Knowing she was ill and still giving every bit of her heart and soul into this performance makes me cry every time. Great reaction ace!

Singing Angel !!!

Angelina very sick, was advised not to sing! But... she was invited to contribute at a gala in Stockholm Sweden, which honored people who did something good for others. Of course Angelina couldn't cancel her number no matter how sick she was! Her raspy cold voice only added more flair to the performance. Not a dry eye in the audience, standing ovations!

Thanks Ace...to me, the best version of this song I have heard and we are talking about an 8 year old little girl. Angelina poured every bit of her heart and soul into this performance and so much emotion, this one gets me every time, can simply feel every note and every word she sings....love this. To me this is her most emotional performance. Add to that the fact that she insisted on performing even with a cold, as it was for charity, and you can't help but just say WOW!

Angelina represents the essence of giving. I don't know how this emotion/empathy got inculcated into her being, but it's there in spades. I know you feel it too and we appreciate you too.

There was a month left before her 9th birthday and obviously it's not her best performance, she has a cold, her voice is almost broken, even the doctor advised her not to sing, but she did, and the scream she gives tears your soul.

AJ was sick, and the doctor told her not to perform. She was amazing and she didn't like to disappoint... absolutely amazing.
