There isn't another girl alive that I know of who can sing as well as Angelina (my favorite singer). Before Angelina I had pretty much given up on music. Now I listen to a wide variety of songs.

I am getting to the age that seeing her when she is 18-20 years old is not a certainty . That makes me sad. She is so awesome now, it is hard to imagine what she may sound like in 5 years
It's a great song, so poignant. And her voice expresses every bit of it wistful sadness. She has said she wants to sing for the whole world. I do think that touring is a hard life. Maybe there could be something in between. Lately I've been listening to her cover of I Know I'm Not the Only One.
Angelina has what I like to think is the perfect voice. There is nothing she can't sing to perfection. Her parents are taking excellent care of her career from what I have heard. She won't be allowed to sign anything with anybody until she had completed school. That is the best start she can get. Nobody pushing her into contacts for the money. Good on them.
Love your comments. There is no need for the big, slick studio production of Adele. Art is about emotions, and incredibly this thirteen year old with a skeleton band on a small outdoor stage conveys that much better. It is a rare occasion if she doesn’t improve on an original.
Most of the newer songs she covers are my first time hearing. I usually, then, go to listen to the original. About the only time I hear the original because Angelina's is always so much better.

These exclamations that do not cease to come to mind while listening to Angelina correspond exactly to your first observation, GreyWolf: every performance of her is almost flawless. If she is been performing almost flawlessly since ages 12 to 14, what will we expectfrom her for now on? Perfection? She is so fearless, audacious, confident, bold, resolute and determined, as we saw her at the NGT and AGT, for instance, or at her live concerts, that she will continue to impress the most doubtful or skeptical among us. Why? Being born to be, as she stated herself, a superstar, she is applying the golden principle of the happy few (instilled in her by grandma, i would venture to say): act like you were, and you shall be. I have never been particularly interested in Adele's music (she is a great songwriter though) but when Angelina does her covers of them they sound absolutely amazing to me.
The print of the outfit is from paintings made by her grandma and I've read Angelina had her hands in the making of the outfit along with the items at her store.
You are so right... her natural live voice is like a studio tweaked recording. I heard a producer say once that she is so easy to work with because she nails it in one take, and there are no "corrections" to be made in post. Angelina does concerts in Norway every summer. Unfortunately the show this year where she was going to be opening for Lionel Richie has been canceled :( ...and I won't get into the differences between Angelina and Dimash... but they are not comparable IMO.
Dimash is an amazing singer and performer and, early on (Singer 2017), I enjoyed watching him, for the novelty and as an example of the extremes that he was proving were possible. Angelina's is the voice I want to hear every day of my life. I can easily go for a month or so without listening to Dimash. I love watching Angelina sing and she causes me to totally focus on her in videos. But, I don't have to watch her videos to "see" her. When I'm driving and listening, she is in my head. I can listen to her while I'm doing the dishes or cooking. I can't even imagine what it would be like to see her performing in person. This was a long-winded agreement with your last statement. 🥰🥰🥰
@@ShanLiB I feel the same way about Manolito whats his name the little philippino "girly guy" who came in 4th place during the 2020 AGT champions. His is a novelty act also.. Given he has a great male voice, but ruins it with his girly man act. The people who voted for him over our beloved Angelina should be comitted to a mental institution.
@@leebrn8588 Marcelito Pomoy is a highly respected singer and, as I've watched him over the years he seems to be a very nice person. However, he was in his early 30's in his initial performance (The Prayer) and had been doing that song for 11 years. I'm sure those new to him would have been impressed (and, rightly so). However, I don't compare anyone to Angelina. And, novelty has its own quality. I find no reason denigrate Marcelito nor those who voted for him.
Dimash and Diana are both "in your face" and "hey look at me,I'm the best" type singers. Angelina does her thing quietly and elegantly, never a show off. Several people have said about them both that' I will listen to Diana or Dimash maybe once a month, but I love to listen to Angelina every day, and night. That is the difference between liking someone and loving them

I Love watching our reaction videos to Angelina Jordan and actually I haven't watched any other artists that you have reacted to yet. Angelina Jordan is better then any drug!!! Her music calms me, makes me giddy, sometimes makes me cry but only cuz she moves me so much with her passion and delivery of songs. I can't get enough of Angelina and I have my favorite covers like: "Born to Die", "feeling good", "I put a spell on you", "Summertime", "All of me", "Million years ago", & this song "when we were young"......just to name a few!!! Honestly I was only allowed to listen to Christian music as a child so a lot of the older music she covers I've never heard before so it is as if I'm hearing it for the first time and then I go look find the original song to see what it sounds like. I think she has done that for a lot of her fans by covering the different genres of music it's as if she is reintroducing younger fans to older artist like Billie Holiday & Elton John. This is the only performance of hers that literally gives me chills _every_ time I hear it, even after having heard it _dozens_ of times. When she swoops up at that one point in the chorus (which she does twice, of course), a chill goes up my spine and I have to take a deep breath. It usually ellicits a choice four-letter utterance from me, as well. ("Damn." is what I left as a comment on the video the first time I heard it. That is not the word I had actually said.) This also happens to be the third video of hers that made me cry. First one that did that, my eyes just watered a bit. Second one, I think a single tear escaped. This one, I ended up _sobbing_ afterwards. (Granted, that had a lot to do with things I was thinking about beyond just this one performance, but regardless… it did trigger that reaction.)
I love the fact that many of her performances are live in concert settings or informal one take captures. This shows that she isn't worried about making her performances perfect. In a time when all flaws can be corrected in post-production all the life gets wrung out of a performance. It's like editing a photo with photoshop. All great photographers know that all the "editing" is done with the viewfinder. If the photo isn't right when you click the shutter no amount of editing will suddenly make the photo great.
It is a great and unusual thing to follow an artist's journey since such a young age, isn't it? I totally agree with you! Our "velvet queen" will continue to gift us with her voice and also with her beautiful personality for years to come. And, oh yeah, stadiums, arenas, theater's, football fields! If she doesn't fill them, something is very wrong with music nowadays!!!

No, I hope she doesn’t do stadiums... It would spoil the prodigy in her. As she improves her writing skills making more of her own music , recording for the human enjoyment is enough. Trust me, Angel-ina has been the highlight of my life...I've been on almost complete bedrest for about 3 years now and I know I keep fighting for my health because of angel's like her...hands down best female vocalist in the world...I know how much Dimash is loved and he is amazing...I stumbled upon an artist known as Felix Irwin...he does a cover of this song and I am only mentioning it because 1. No risk repeating yourself with Angelina...none whatsoever. The actual risk is not to know who she is. Her live performances are particularly something because she's real, honest...not a star but and artist. No limelight required, she glows on her own.
