I want to learn Serbian so badly I have a friend that lives there so it would be good to know it I know English French and Armenian but live in Australia 😊
People have to realize that the era of one nationality has ended. We have more people living outside of their birth country than ever before, more international couples. National identity isn't fixed, it's fluid. Someone can feel both Polish and German at the same time. There's no need to force them pick only one. It's something personal and varies from case to case.
What is so shocking about the fact Kerber speaks Polish? She grew up in polish family, she is Polish citizen and her permanent residency is located in Poland in the outskirts of Poznan where her grandparents live. Why should she speak any other language on daily basis?
+Hen Drik Both of Parents of Kerber are polish. She was born in Germany, but she wanted play for Poland but, there was some stupid issues because of polish tennis association. She pay taxes in Poland, have two passports, but anyway decided play for Garmany, so she is german That's it:) Regards.
Please do some research. She was asked by Poland to play for it but she didnt decide immediately and finally decided to play for Germany because she feels German. Heres a statement from HER: "I am German. I play for Germany, I grew up in Germany, and my heart beats for Germany."
Angelique speaks Polish perfectly, Sabine has a bit of an accent and grammar issues. It's amazing though how well preserved the language skills are for both players.
+Eric0816 I know English and German in some communicative level, but to learn Polish is more difficult than learn En. and Ger. both on same time. In Polish language u can better explain some difficult things and is more able to make some word games, but German and especially English is way better to use even if you know just few simple words.
A niby dlaczego? ,
