Inherently it won't be the same of course because the voice we all know so well is gone. The afternoon show is amazing also. All three main shows are so good. Angelo is one of a kind but hey the guys got to retire. I bet we see him every now and again. He said no but he won't stick to that. give him till the birds start up again. I bet he takes a segment atleast once a week
Can’t disagree in full , but having grown up with Angelo and the morning team since I was eight years old and then move to California when I was 24… Let me tell you after 24 years are in California any of the hosts and shows in Philadelphia are leaps and bounds above any sports show you get out here the ones out here are absolute crap unprofessional not smooth not at all listenable sports radio… You will still have it good in Philly!
That's an understatement, the new morning show sucks big time, I couldn't wait to wake up and listen to Angelo and crew I swear but I cannot cannot listen to that little annoying joe d, I like Richie and the rest of the morning show but I don't turn on wip until 10am, it's a shame but it's unlistenable
Wow so many years listening to this guy since I was a kid with my dad. I remember so many times waking up and driving to work early in the morning listening to this show.
I go back so far w this clown that I remember when he and Eskin used to go at each others throats as bad as anyone. Eskin used to go in on Angelo three decades ago.
You are one of a kind Buddy! You made driving to work in the morning for over 30 years sports informative, interesting and just plane fun! Enjoy your many years of upcoming retirement, and thanks again for the memories through all those years Angelo!!!
Aside from the sports talk, it was the banter between the crew, and the comedy bits that made my morning commute enjoyable. Thank you, guys and gals!! Happy retirement, Angelo!
Listening to Angelo and the crew for over 30 years. Besides the sports talk, the guy was just insanely funny and quick on his feet. He made the morning commute enjoyable. He will surely be missed.
You're a legend Ange. You are irreplaceable, it will never be the same without you. I felt the same exact way when Ray Diddy stepped away. Another sage of Philly sports has stepped down from the pulpit. You will be missed. Like a great friend who was there every morning, it's going to hurt not hearing your voice anymore. Enjoy your ride off into the sunset 🌇, you deserve it.
Angelo was the reason I even listened to the morning show. His wit and self deprecating humor were awesome. He will be missed big time us long term fans. The 2 fellows that have taking his morning show over remind me of listening to wall paper drying. 🤨
Tony Bruno and Angelo are the GOATs. Tony is still doing shows on the Tony Bruno Sports Network. I hope we'll still be able to hear Angelo, at least from time to time. I'll remember listening to you through so many different periods of my life. The best was when my mother would drive me to school in the morning, and we'd always be cracking up listening to you. Much respect for a wonderful career, and thank you for the memories 🙏
This guy I love. This guy got me through so many heart breaking losses. I would listen after huge losses to get my frustrations out calm down and commiserate. We love you Angelo❤

Don't expect the new morning show to be the same, they will find their own new identity as time goes on, just enjoy what it was for 30 plus years because it wasn't just angelo that rode off into the sunset, an entire Era of sports talk radio is going with him, and we had it here in Philly!
Remember listening to Angelo and morning crew when the sixers made that 01 finals run. And years and years after that. Going to be wild not hearing Angelo on the radio anymore. Enjoy retirement Angelo.
Thought Angelo ‘s finale was straight class and even mentioned the respect he had for Missanelli who was 975 the fanatic whether you liked him or not and they totally dropped the ball there cause that station is trash 🗑️ since Mikey Miss left
Smh, I'm going to miss this morning show Angelo, Conklin, AL, Jones, and them guys. They were hilarious, this new morning show is booooring , but to their defense, it's going to be hard to replace that show
Wrong! The new morning show actually talks sports in a rational way, unlike the loudmouth jumping on and off the bandwagon! Intelligent sports fans will love the new morning show, but it will fail because of the same majority of sports fans who are morons like Cataldi!

If Tony Bruno was so great in Angelo and Al Morganti"s opinion, why did the both of them sell Tony down the river in 1995 when Bigby got rid of Tony? The two of them should have threatened to quit unless Tony was retained.
I listened to Angelo for years even though I have always found his voice annoying. I never got over it. Im afraid that someday soon I might start to miss it.
Who was drumming on the desk during the Joe Conklin song?? That was terrible. If it was Angelo maybe he can take some drum lessons now that he has the time....
I enjoyed the personality. His sports opinions? Meh, Angelo proved meteorologists aren't the only profession that you can be constantly wrong and still keep it.
Never really cared for the cranky stupid personality Angelo choose to become popular among his older demographics. The man graduated from Columbia, back when an Ivy League education meant something. The worst years were the late 90's and early 2000's when he tried to act like the creepy old man around Wingettes because Howard Stern dominated ratings on 94WYSP. When he debated Gabe Kapler, Cataldi showed his true self and he was amazing, that was some of the finest radio WIP has ever broadcasted. Unfortunately those moments were rare. But hey...he was successful, made a lot of money, and had a long career.
Finally, the 94 WIP morning show will be listenable! Cataldi, sold his sports credibility soul for $ a long time ago! He was a loudmouth, bandwagon jumper! Good Riddance Cataldi, enjoy your $!
Wow. I moved out of the area in 2018. I didn't realize how old we are getting. I listened to these guys for decades. I pretty much quit sports when they went woke, never watched a second of the Eagles superbowl win. But this crew seem like family. I call Al decades ago and told him the Flyers would never win a cup with Lindros, I was being controversial, he told me I was crazy, but I was right, sadly.
