What an underrated song. The slow buildup through the first few minutes gives you chills.

This is probably the best AVA song.

I watched them play this song in concert last October. Before they played it Tom told the story of how he finished the song after feeling a tunnel of light that connected him to his dad as he passed away. And during the whole song I wept like a child for their mother. Unbelievable the emotion that was captured in this work of art. Wow.

Tunnels is such a sad song written about Tom's dad who was also called Tom well Thomas actually who died just before they did this video

when this album released in 2014, i rate it 6/10. i realized this album was great after 2 years. 9/10

I realize I'm months late on this, but now that things have (hopefully) cooled off, I just wanna say... I think a lot of people tend to forget that time changes people. A lot has happened in the 10 years since Blink originally went on hiatus. Tom had kids and reignited his passion for music with AVA. Blink is a great band and will always have a special place in my heart, but Tom obviously does not have the passion for Blink anymore, and that's absolutely okay. I'm sure many of you have things in your past that you used to love and be passionate about, but don't feel the same anymore. That doesn't mean that Tom can't love Blink from a distance. And honestly, why should we be angry? Would Blink be any better off having a member that doesn't really wanna be there? I'm not here to insult or belittle any Blink fans, all I'm asking is that you try to understand that Tom, Travis, and Mark are different people than they were 10-15 years ago. They clearly all wanna make music, but I think now, being in their 40s and having been to the top of the mountain, all want different things out of their artistry. Tom knows what it's like to have platinum records, being on MTV, selling out stadiums. Clearly, with AVA, he's going for something much more intimate.

why doesn't this have a million views yet? this should be over 100,000,000 at least..fucked up how underrated they are but they're one of the best bands.."We Don't Need To Whisper" another best album

Tom Delong's ways to explore new kinds of music are just amazing, he's the only one who can pass from a punk teenager song to an inspirational mature song, It's just my point of view :)

"I'm not, without emotion" is the second greatest verse for me after "Where are you" After my good pal's funeral, my sister asked me "don't you know how to cry?" How could I while going through all the ordeal of life? Yet, I just wanted to say the line "I'm not, without emotion". It's still all there but life didn't have time for me.

Thank you for this music AVA. My dad passed away this weekend and it hurts like nothing I have felt before. Listening to AVA keeps me calm and gives me a sense of comfort. I've had this song on repeat every day. I needed this, thank you.

Tom Delonge is amazing! This song hits me every time! With the loss of my father a few years back, it makes you slow down and remember all the good times.

Between the good and the bad of life, ups and downs of being human , pain of heartbreak and happiness of love, AVA has been there for me through it all. This band has been the soundtrack to my life in every possible situation. The gratitude i have for their music can not be put into words. Absolute LOVE.

I've been an AVA fan since the get-go pretty much, and my god the band just keeps getting better. Back when the Love film just came out, when William Eubank came to Melbourne, Australia to some screenings, he spoke so passionately about the film and especially Poet. He even got so excited he was showing me the rough plans of what the actual animated character looked like, saying was similar to Donnie Darko. My conversation with him lasted a good 20 or 30 minutes, standing outside the theatre when everyone had left. Everything related to AVA we spoke about, he was so hyped man. That's exactly why I love this band. All the different projects are so exciting. I can't even put the right words together to explain what a huge part this band has played in my life, mostly in the last 3 years. Shit happens, we learn to adapt to the new. Keep the new AVA things coming! So happy!

As a guy who is comfortable with everything in this world, I do want to say that I grew up on Blink 182, and they made me me. But it is in the past, so instead of all the negativity, let's celebrate and appreciate Angels & Airwaves, Tom Delonge has an amazing voice and creative talent.

I love how Skiba has lit a new fire inside of Travis and Mark... They are really gaining momentum. California part 2 isn't perfect but has some amazing songs. I heard this song by AVA yesterday, and can't help but miss Tom's voice. He can literally take 4 chords and transform it into something beautiful. I hope one day he can incorporate himself back into the studio with blink. Him Skiba and Mark would blend together like a violin, cello, viola. The perfect trio of voices.

2019 and this song is still fucking amazing. Was hoping they would play this when I saw them in concert Wednesday but they didn't.

I believe this also had something to do with his father? From what I read he said one night he woke up and he was all hyped up like a ball of energy. He felt something there with him. A half an hour later he got a call from the hospital or hospice his dad was in to tell Tom he'd passed away a half an hour ago. So the time he woke up was around the time his father passed.
