Anger is not always a negative emotion.
The root cause of anger is a need to survive, a reflex to defend and protect oneself because you feel threatened.
Anger can be very valid when your physical and emotional boundaries feel violated. Anger helps us know and clarify our core beliefs and values that don’t sit well with them.
Anger is a great form of catharsis and release.
Anger can be alchemised into gold through creative channelling, putting it into music, art or contact sport.
Anger can motivate us to do better for ourselves.
Correction- anger is part of the FIGHT response of our survival mechanism
Note that chronic anger and frequent outbursts isn’t healthy and what I refer to in in this video is healthy expression of anger.
