In 1974, when I was 15, I met Angie. One day as I was leaving high school I saw a film shoot nearby. As a curious type and a fan of film and TV I went to see what it was all about. It turns out it was a "Police Woman" shoot. As I approached the set here comes none other than Angie Dickinson walking toward me! I panicked but was able to mutter hello to her. She smiled and asked me to walk her to her trailer. She stood at the trailer door and talked to me for 15 minutes. What a sweetheart. I told her I had recently seen her in "Big Bad Mama", a film in which she did topless scenes. Boy she looked mortified! But we laughed it off. Not too long ago I had the opportunity to meet her at a celebrity meet and greet show. I approached her and told her how much it meant to me that she took the time to hang out with me, a teenager, and have a great conversation. She smiled sweetly. What a woman.
@@Julie-yd4yj It was at the Los Angeles City Valley College in Van Nuys, Ca. I was attending Grant High School that was next to Valley College. They were filming on the campus.
@@goplad1 oh wow, that surely was so neat for you….I would have been thrilled (and I know you were)--that says a lot about the type of person she is, how very nice. Thanks again for sharing, I love reading stuff like this.
Angie has always been my pin up a Lady of great natural beauty and a strong minded woman, you can tell from this interview that she is a clever lady who speaks well and that voice it's one of those voices that you could shut your eyes but would know its Angie.
Love listening to what she says...such a sharp lady, and just beautiful, as well. She comes across as such a regular person, who has had this incredible life. She also comes across as the kind of person I would just love to sit and have lunch with...can you imagine the stories and the laughs?! : )
That's great. It was hard work that took her from her family. She's not looking back and blaming anyone. Angie admitted they gave her what she craved, stardom. She willing paid the price.
🌟📚 Angie I wish you would put these exact words into a biography of yourself in a book…I think your life would read like a great, fascinating/touching novel. Or have you written a book about the story of your life?
Angie Dickinson is a lady. She loves everyone. She is not a threat to women bc she wouldn't steal her men. She's not that type. Every movie she's done was so so realistic. The film she did about her being almost blind really got to me. I so wanted to go and help her, as a long time Care giver you automatically want to go help. 😂 I was ready. God bless Ms Ang. ❤❤❤
Still a very beautiful woman and a beautiful soul as well, she lost her greatest love her daughter, nevertheless she was a very good mother with a lot of love to give
I’m glad Angie Dickinson has been blessed with a long life amid her struggles and being by her child until her child passed away not long ago without any help from Burt Bacharach. There’s an interesting interview of Angie Dickinson on Sunday Morning show hosted by Jane Pauley. I admire her courage and resilience. ❤️
Angie, I don't know if you'll ever see this text. But I just finished getting off. Amina watching John Wayne and you look like you were like 19 years old. You're so beautiful. I think you still are. I'm watching your interview right now. And I hope you still well and take care. Roll
Always Always in my area yes I thought she was a very lovely woman yes I guess she was a sexy man but she was very bright very smart and she’s very likable and she was not having the best legs I guess them that most actually did not have like Molle and that she was never never ever considered very down to earth and that was that was mostly what I liked about her and her brains obviously as we see a cop with this conversation that she was great good luck to you and you take us and you are really I really admire you to a minimum in my area
She would have made a better Crystal in Dynasty but that would have been too stressful of a work place for her personal responsibilities as a parent of a child with special needs raising her child by herself.
