This song makes me appreciate Keith Richards' talent. Keith, who wrote the majority of the song’s music and lyrics, said in his autobiography that the name Angie came to him while in Switzerland detoxing from his heroin addiction.
This song meant so much to me as a child growing up in the 70s we had just moved from flint Michigan to a little town called montrose and my father was building our moms dream home and I was 10 yrs old and my new neighbors had a daughter ( so beautiful) she was 9 and blonde with brown eyes and we were each other’s first crush and her name was Angie….I would sing along with this song to her…just hearing you play and sing this song took me back to that little boy and his first love…thank you knulp…I’m in your debt…..I just ❤ your talent…
Now that’s a trip down memory lane….17 October 1973 at Vorst National in Brussels……Angie was my favourite tune that night….The Stones at their finest with the best lineup 👏👏👏👏great cover 🥂
Awesome young lady. This is 3rd video in a row have watched, so multi talented and relaxed with it. A beautiful voice too. Could watch her for hours, A standing Ovation to you.
You're a queen with these old classics 🌟- thanks a squillion for your beautiful interpretations! Which reminds me - I've been sorely remiss by taking for granted and not stating my appreciation for your videographer before - he or she is the perfect person to capture you in full-flight and how she/he does this is pure genius! 👏🏻👏🏻
"There ain't a woman who comes close to you..." -- biggest heartbreak of a lifetime, and Mick's song came out 2 months after Angie left. You brought back that sweet, delicious sorrow. And all the goodness.
@@knulp. Thank you for your kind words but I think it may be beyond me now as I am nearly 71 years old 😅 but you do have time on your side so keep up the wonderful work you are doing and I will continue to watch.
How come! You're never late and I am so happy to have you! Thanks so much for sharing music with me. I hope I can give you love and comfort through my videos.. Big hugs🧸💌
Olá. Sou brasileiro e me lembro muito dessa música que surgiu no rádio quando eu ainda era novinho. Hoje, com 61 anos de idade, fico muito feliz em ouvir uma jovem tocando e cantando ela. Muito obrigado!
While I don't know what this talented young Lady's aspirations might be. She certainly deserves Global recognition and handsomely rewarded for her phenomenal talent!
KNULP, it is a good time to be alive I get to see and hear your sweet beautiful self. You play the guitar like the master you are, I do enjoy it so much thank you. Happy New Year 🎉😊❤
I love your playing style and your selection of music is exactly where I live and grew up. Thanks and good luck. I'll be repeating this often so yt knows how much we like you.
