Yes, in the thumbnail the top is down, roof up for filming because of sound. The brakes have done 5 days so far, just about another day left in them. Brake wear is very variable depending on the pad - discs don't matter just avoid drilled and grooved as they don't have a benefit only look pretty. Drilled tend to crack. Road pads will be destroyed in one day and you will have reduced braking and possible brake judder as they can't handle the heat. There are some pads that last a very long time but then they tend to be terrible on the drive before and after the day. I switch between road pads and a low level track pad, the original Mazda road pads are great on the road so I use them on the road as much as possible. I'm currently using Ferodo DS2500 on track, they're just about good enough on track and work on the road to get me there and back. I've just bought some Roddison pads to try out on track. Best track pads I've had are Carbon Lorraine RC5+ but you can't get them for the ND MX5 and they're not good on the road. EBC yellowstuff work but wear very quickly and are noisy, Padgid RS 4-2 are similar to the Ferodo DS2500 but a bit better from memory. That's all I've tried.
