Not really surprised that my 16 years old petrol daily driver, that get me to work everyday without a single fuse blown, won this. This Fiestas (5th generation) are as durable as 90’s Honda Civics. Buy it before price goes up 😉
What are the rules in terms of banger builds at this track? I've been watching your videos and this track looks mental! Never seen bangers going round with glass still in place, working electrics, lights and fittings such as grilles, bumpers etc in place. I'm up in the North of England but I'd love to visit here one day!
I would love to find out too, so far as I can see find a car drive it to the track knock all the side windows out and you are good to go, cant find any info anywhere about all this. Beleive me if its as simple as that i will be doing it.
In my country (Brazil) people work and suffer for a Ford Fiesta ... I respect those who like it ... These cars, from what I saw, could still be used ...
It's the throwaway attitude to cars the uk has. Once a car reaches 15 years old there, they become practically worthless unless they're a special model. A lot of these cars would have still been road legal, probably dealer trade ins that ended up at auctions being sold for £200 and ended up here.
That Fiesta is the car version of some wildlife videos I've watched where a hyena has eaten half a wildebeest and the wildebeest is still alive trying to drag itself away
Thanks mate! Angmering and Smallfield are my local tracks as was Arena Essex. Do occasionally do hendnesford for civil war, and do plan on other tracks including Emmen! It looks crazy there looking at your videos. I will get there one day it’s just a bit difficult when you have small children lol
@@martinwheeldon haha yeah it is difficult. Got a son of 1.5 years and cant visit as many as i would like these days. Emmen is defo worth a visit! Especially the teamrace! Europen at Warneton is worth a visit as well. Im planning on doing Ringwood again in March 2020. That should be a fantastic meeting. What camera do you use?
Yes it’s difficult with kids! Mine are 1 and 5 I take the 5 year old one racing with me sometimes but when he gets home just smashes all his toy cars up lol I use a Panasonic gh5 with a 14-140mm lense
@@martinwheeldon haha yeah my 1.5 year old visit a race twice now. He loves watching banger videos on phone and yes he also smashes them up at home. First i hoped he would love cars but its getting a little bit too much haha. When we are walking with him he is pointing and watching at every car that passed us..
