@@tommy2972until a biogenesis is explained, evolution has no answer for the creation of the first single cell which has the minimum set of genes proteins and amino acids to even jump start life. Hence what “theory” is. Not certain. Science changes so it cannot be certain unless it’s tested and observed multiple times and have a TOTAL understanding of the controlled factors such as cause and effect. Evolution doesn’t come close to that criteria.

Honestly at the end Muhammad took it personal tho asking him to deal with his anger issues. He wanted an explanation on self sufficient and independent and Muhammad asked if he understood English. That derailed the convo. He should have explained to him what these terms mean. Just refraining fron any personal attack.

Over the year of watching about a hundred of discussion between Muslims and atheists, I've observed that it's almost always the atheists who like to jump to God or religion before the Muslims even say anything about God or religion.
It's because they are so on edge to disprove God, they preemptively assume anything and everything a theist says = proof of God. It's a sign of a disingenuous person who lacks critical thinking

True and that in itself is a testimony. It's not like the majority of atheists or other people are testing, observing and repeating the scientific findings. So it's very hypocritical of atheists to claim that testimony isn't valid.
Exactly. Athiests don't realise they themselves rely on testimonial evidence from scientists. As if atheists sit there and do all the experiments of the world for their top tier 'scientific' knowledge. The cognitive dissonance in atheists is astounding really.
I was married to an atheist. He was so arrogant, condescending, and hipocritical. I mean, a simple conversation with him was excruciating. So I made it a point to never discuss anything with him. I find they have a serious superiority complex. I mean it got so bad that it wasn't just religion, it was any topic. We are both healthcare workers and when we would discuss a patient, he would behave in the same manner. Hence why I could not stay married to him. I always said if I ever have freetime I will do a research study on atheism and superiority complex. I strongly belive there is a strong correlation. But that's just anecdotal.
Honestly, I have a friend who behaved the same way. He was an atheist and had shared the same traits as you mentioned. He's still the same but I converted him from atheist to agnostic😂
Honestly, my guess would be that they refuse to admit there's an entity above them hence the superior complex. Because admitting to a higher power means they just lower in their position

listen to what you said, the "results" and words meaning the testimony has results aka evidence to back up what the scientist is saying ...now in your case a book is all you need to believe the moon was split into 2 or any other claim it makes without any evidence

This Atheist failed to realised that most of his source of knowledge comes from a testimony that has been written. To generalised all form of testimony have the same value just showed his EGO > Intellect.

It is the simplest explanation of God among other religions, yet this atheist doesn't want to hear it because it hurt his feeling to know that God exists and it is against his ego, because the consequence is that he should surrender to God and follow Him. It doesn't fulfill his desire. Remember what prophet Muhammad shalallahu 'alayhi wassalam said: الدُّنْيَا سِجْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَجَنَّةُ الْكَافِرِ "The world is a prison-house for a believer and Paradise for a non-believer."

1) He didn't know that science is not the only type of evidence. 2) He wrongly understood testimony in the hierarchy of evidence.* 3) He didn't understand the simple English description. *For anybody wondering, using testimony to make a conclusion in a scientific study =/= getting a testimony from a scientist that has done a gold-standard research in the scientific field. Subhanallah. I think what Ted wants is a physical description of God and not the attributes of God. Brother Ali explained to him what Muslims believe about God and he immediately rejected it. In other words he wants the description of God to fit his own narrative otherwise it doesn't make sense to him.

It's such a shame that they come in order to argue and not have an open, minded conversation. They have this attitude like "ok convince me about God existent" its like they are challenging the other person as if its their job to convince them, all the while they have already made their mind no matter what the other person says its not going to make a difference. So a failed conversation from the beginning. On top of that, he even puts the blame on Ali for his ourbursts and in his lack of unwillingness to listen. However there are many atheist who actually do listen and are having good wholesome conversations without having an attitude such as this individual. Trust me (to the atheist) you have a lousy attitude thats on you and not on Ali. Atheism usually comes from an emotional place rather than a logical one. Most atheism stems from feeling betrayed or lied to by a religion or religious figures in early childhood. In the West, Christianity is the biggest driver of atheism, especially for intellectuals.

I noticed something very interesting about all the people Muhammad ist talking to. Their body language is always very active, they change or correct their seat position and always seem very stressed and unsure about what they are saying. While Muhammed always has very minimized body movement. That's because he knows what he's saying is true and he don't feel any stress about that at all.

"Not every evidence needs to be scientific." That's a really good point. I am a Muslim and I have a friend who comes from a Muslim family but he is not religious/ he doesn't believe in Islam. I am trying my best to discuss with him. I hope he will convert to Islam one day.
