Poor mr fishy been told he can't go home, no wonder he pissed off with you and showing his disapproval by grunting at you, he probably saying insults at you and calling you every bad name he can think of lol, i have to say mr fishy was such a pretty colour the way the blue shines in the sunlight is so pretty. 🐟 Although i feel sorry for poor mr fishy not been able to go home to his friends and family about his adventures that day😢 i hope you showed him some respect and made him into a great tasting meal for uou and your family and friends and uou didnt just waste him and make him into cat food like someone i used to know did with fish he caught, 😳 after all been caught and eaten is degrading enough but been caught and then turned into cat food is just insulting to the poor fish 😳🐟 although his cats loved it and always got excited whe he got home from fishing he lived and worked on his family farm so he had loads of farm cats which hed feed them with the fish he caught, he had a freezer just to keep the fish hed catch in, he would steam the whole fish and mix them up with steamed chicken, lamb and beef which he also raised on his farm and cat milk. feeding time was always fun to watch hed place the mixture which hed make fresh every day and then place the mixture in several huge metal trays he had, he would the whistle and shout kitties dinner time come and get it and the cats would come running, all of the adults along with any kittens as they often had litters, most of cats were not pets they were all feral farm cats, although there were a few who were friendly and he did give them all names. It was also a good time while they ate to check if there were any males among them that needed a quick neuter hee did every year try and trap, spay the females, and release them but he couldnt trap them all so he still got the odd litters. He had a deal with the vet so he didnt have to pay to have thrm done although he never paid for the males to be done as his graddad and dad still used the old cat in weelie boot way of doing the male cats which was basically getting the cat , putting it head first in a wellie boot slice each side of the testicle sack, pull the testicles out and snip them out spray them with antibiotic spray and powder and let them go back to their dinner, pretty mush how they do a horse, the whole thing took the old men less than a minute as i once timed them doing it, granddad was slightly faster than his dad but hed been doing since he was a boy so knew the best and fastest way to do it, i have to say it was impressive, even his vet told him he did it faster than he could and the vet did it on a cat that was knocked out !! , the look of horror i must of had on my face the first time i saw this made the old man laugh so hard he nearly lost his false teeth. Ill never forget the first time the vet saw it, the vet had come out that day as old shep their sheep dog had been butted by a ram and had broken his leg the vet had gone to re do the pressure bandage and since shep hated the car the vet came out to hin plus one of the horses needed his vaccine, well they had just called the cats for dinner and the old man had seen a male that needed doing he said oh wait a minute doc that ones balls have finally dropped ive been watching him for weeks waiting for this his brothers dropped weeks ago to the vet and he turned to me and said do me a favour my love go get me the wellie and antibiotic powder and spray so i did he grabbed the cat and said to it come here son this will only hurt for a second and then you can go back to you dinner and you will get a extra treat too if ya brave for me, i gave him the boot and he said in you pop son putting the cat head first into it he then grabbed his knife did two slits pulled them out and cut the off he then put them aside and used the powder and spray saying the powder stops and bleeding and the the spray not only protects against infection but i know hes done as he'll have a bule backside for a few weeks he let him out he thrn gave the cat its testicles to eat which it did with excitement while he stroked its ears, i laughed when the vet said i cant believe the cat just ate those the old man said well i told him hed get a treat for been brave plus its a great source of protein to help with his healing he will be back to normal in a couple of days the cat finishing its treat went back to his dinner like nothing happened since it happened so fast , the vet said i always wondered why i always got the females and never the males i always thought you been a man like many men that you didnt like the idea of a male been done he said no i just dont see the point of wasting your precious time doing a job i can do myself let me know if you think i need to do it a different way thats just how my dad taught me when i was nine it was my first job on the farn cutting off the male cats balls and its how i taught my boy too but im always willing to learn a better way the vet said nope you did it right there is nothing to change great job and i respect that you doing it saves me a job especially since you booked in 9 females this week. He loved those cats even though hed say they are not pets they earn their keep here so dontbyou hoing making them sift by pampering them, yet it was the old man that gave them all a name and you would often see him giving them a cuddle when he thought no-one was watching and if caught he say just giving it a health check i thought it was limping we would smile and say oh no is it ok wonder if it has anything to do with the other 4 you checked this week maybe they all had a fight 🤣 😸🐱🐈‍⬛🐈 sorry this got so long i kinda got sidetracked 🙈🤣
