That's crazy as hell tbh. Especially when you see some of the roughing the passer calls that QBs get in todays game. It's honestly a joke of a penalty most of the time anyways.

I would trade the Jets team for your team any day of the week. If your weakness is your secondary, it is much easier to fix than our weakness which is the QB. Herbert is 1,000x better than Wilson. I would take him any day.

@@SmokinGun55no doubt but as a chargers fan we’ve had great Quarterbacks for 20 years from Brees to Rivers to Herbert only to suck and find new and creative ways to lose. I’m not really comparing because the pain is different but being a Chargers fan is a special type of hurt.

@@SmokinGun55not just Wilson we know that he holds onto the ball and should use his legs more but like dude got sacked EIGHT TIMES and there were dropped passes and useless penalties again he put up good numbers just not TDS poor dude is surrounded by meat bags for a line and Wilson is his only target downfield and he’s covered because every defense knows everyone else stinks happy that Gibson got some work hopefully that keeps happening as well as brownlee they need to step up because lazards not doing well right now

@@arose112 EXACTLYY, as a charger fans it seems like every off season we are the CHAMPS. WE got the dream line up on paper... EVERY YEAR... well towards the end of rivers carreer they gave up on the line but still... solid weapons

I went to sleep after the Chargers ran that punt return back. I literally said “yea that’s the game we lost”. I just knew we were cooked 😂 Our offense can’t do shit if the defense doesn’t give them the ball in the red zone and we still only get 3 points out of it.

The D is playing well. Play calling on the offensive side is not good. Zach is Jeckel and Hide. It could go either way.

It's not over, as long as the defense is fantastic. I really don't think Zach Wilson is the problem, but I also have no idea how we're going to score points. I like the up tempo stuff and I'd love to see more deep passing, but everything is hard unless we get solid oline play.

Chargers choking in the playoffs against the Jags made the entire league happy. It was hilarious to say the least

Yep. Might actually help if the line blocked well enough that the opportune time to throw is *after* the QB finishes his drop back. He's progressed to the point where he now looks like a rookie who can play, but has LOTS of rough edges to smooth out in terms of decision making in the moment. And he's also progressed to where he's not the reason they're losing games. Then if you take into account if Lazard had caught 3 or 4 of those drops, or he or the other numbskulls don't get penalties on solid offensive gains (that usually don't actually cause the gain to happen at all lol), and who knows how the rest of this game looks. Because the successive plays would've been in totally different downs and distances, and thus there's no way to know how they'd have panned out, but I tend to think they'd have gone better than the results as they were last night.

Cant argue with that but at least the cancer we had as a head coach is gone so ill take what we can get
